Yes I'm attracted to all of them, but that doesn't mean I want to willingly drag my name through the dirt by being that girl who dated three brothers at once. I'm not going to be known as the local hoe. What do I look like, Elena from Vampire Diaries? No no no. Not today. "If that's all you guys had to say," I mutter over my shoulder.
"You're the one who stopped us to ask questions," Aiden says.
I come face to face with Michael. My eyes widen.
He stands there, arms crossed. "What club's going on in there? Chemistry?"
I slap my forehead. There are so many people in the hall, and now the brothers are all behind me. This doesn't look good. "Michael-"
"You know, I wanted to believe you yesterday when you made up this whole club lie." He looks behind me with the dirtiest expression. "But I'm not an AP student for no reason. Critical thinking skills. You should try them sometime."
"Michael," I say. Think Mia. Think. Come up with something.
"Do you have any shame, Mia?" he asks, holding his heart. "The look on your mother's face when she believed your lie. You were just trying to do this! After school clubs my ass. What the hell is this?" His eyes widen. He almost can't believe what he's seeing.
I can't believe what I'm seeing. The amount of people in the hallways is growing rapidly.
"We are going to a club," Aiden says cooly. "This is our last period. That's why we're coming from it. Anymore questions?"
"Oh yeah. Plenty," Michael says without hesitation. "What club are you guys going to? Try to answer all at once."
They open their mouths.
"Including Mia," Michael adds.
We all hesitate. Dammit.
"Mhm," Michael vocalizes a little too matter of factly. "Like I thought. I guess triplet telepathy doesn't extend that far."
Aiden narrows his eyes. All the brothers do.
Michael's about to say something else when a teacher across the hall comes over. "Are you guys coming or not? Spanish club is starting." The woman smiles at all of us, including Michael.
Michael stares at her incredulously. "You too? You're lying too?"
The women cocks her head back. "Excuse me?"
Michael glares down at her.
