"Hey, hey," the guy holds the tray in front of him. "Back up there, sonny. I've got more where that came from."

Onai smacks the tray out of his hand and goes to grab him.

"He was helping me," I say quickly. I look at the person on the floor. "This guy is the one that attacked me."

Onai keeps glaring at the old man but leans down and yanks the person up by the collar. He sniffs him. "He smells like Silvermoon."

The old man nods vigorously. "That's exactly what I was thinking."

"Is that bad?" I ask. "Is that the pack that tried to kill me?"

The old man stares at me disgusted. "Jesus Christ. You don't even know your own pack? What kind of Luna are you?"

Onai glares at him. Then he starts ripping the floor guy's jacket off. Then his shirt. He takes another whiff of him. "Maybe Dawn? I really can't tell." He pries the guy's eyes open. He looks at the old man. "Would you consider that golden?"

"I can't tell," the old man says exasperatedly. "His eyes are rolled to the back of his..."

Onai looks up quickly. "Do you smell that?"

The guy nods, looking behind us. I don't see anyone though.

Onai stands up slowly. He helps me off the floor and puts a finger over his mouth. I nod, but he's not even looking at me. The old man starts walking further down the hallway instead of back towards the cafeteria. Onai pushes me in front of him and starts walking, quickly but silently. I'm much noisier. I can't help it.

The old man opens the door to what looks like a supply closet. Once in, we push past kitchen supplies and then further in gardening tools. Racks and shelves surround us. A bunch of things I can't identify in the dark. Eventually we make it to the back of the room, and I prepare to crouch and hide from whatever's trying to kill me.

I've always hated hiding. It's always made me feel so afraid, but it's better than being killed by whatever's following us.

But out of nowhere the old man cracks open a door. Onai pushes me through and follows right behind me. It lead straight to the forest. Omg, I can't get away. The door starts closing. I look around for the old man, but he's nowhere to be found. I stop the door. "Come on old man," I whisper-scream.

Onai grabs me, dragging me towards the forest.

"We can't leave him," I say louder. I stare at the cracked door.
