Dumping Him for His Uncle (Natasha and Zachary) novel Chapter 20

Natasha hadn't been back to campus for a long time. When she chose not to pursue further studies, many of her professors had tried to persuade her otherwise.

The next afternoon, as she walked through the boutique, she asked, "Could I take a look at that scarf?"

Tomorrow, she would return to Hawthorn University. Back then, those professors had always been kind to Natasha, especially Elvira Goodman.

Natasha remembered Elvira vividly—she was a strong, capable woman, and this scarf would match her perfectly.

"Miss, you really have a good eye. This scarf is made from 100% mulberry silk, and the designer is a well-known name overseas…"

Before the sales assistant, Diana Shortle, could finish her sentence, a loud, arrogant laugh interrupted her. "What's the point of telling someone poor and uncultured about the designer? She wouldn't even recognize the name."

Natasha didn't need to turn around to know who it was.

"No need to explain it. Just wrap it up for me."

Diana gave a gentle smile and nodded, understanding.

This scarf was worth 30 thousand dollars. If it were in the past, Natasha would never have considered buying it.

But given it was a gift for a respected professor, Natasha knew it had to be something of quality.

Just as Diana was preparing to wrap it up, Nicole's voice rang out, "Hey, you!"

Diana looked confused but reluctantly stopped what she was doing.

"Miss, I'm currently helping this customer. We have other staff who can assist you if you need them," Diana explained calmly.

The high-end luxury store's sales assistants were well-mannered. In comparison, Nicole was nothing but rude.

"What I'm buying is far more expensive than whatever she's getting. I specifically want you to assist me—are you not willing?" Nicole demanded, her tone making it clear that she would make a scene if she wasn't served.
