Natasha didn't have the proper medical tools to treat a wound like that. As such, the situation put her in a difficult spot.
She could only make do with the limited medical supplies she had. She cleaned the wound carefully and treated it as best as she could. Then, she wrapped a thick layer of gauze around it.
But it didn't take long before the gauze was soaked through with blood. There had to be a spot that wouldn't stop bleeding.
Natasha felt anxious and helpless. There was no way for her to leave her room and search for better medical supplies. If she did that, it would only draw attention. Right now, her only option was to suture the wound shut.
It was a large wound. If it wasn't stitched up soon, it could lead to serious inflammation in the abdomen area. If the wound became inflamed, the man wouldn't survive without proper hospital treatment.
Natasha rummaged through her luggage. By some miracle, she found a needle and a thread.
She probably wouldn't even have that much if Liana hadn't thrown a bunch of random things into her luggage.
Once she was ready, she didn't hesitate. She stitched the wound using the most basic method.
Her technique was far from refined. The black thread wove in and out of the skin in a rough criss cross. From a distance, it looked like a giant centipede had found its way to the man's abdomen.
She finally let out a breath of relief when she finished.
Just then, Xavier called from outside the door, "I brought you some food. Open the door."
At that moment, there was a strange man lying on Natasha's bed. The sheets and blanket were both stained with blood. If Xavier came in now, there would be no way to hide it.
"I'm not hungry. Just leave it at the door," Natasha responded quickly.
"Not hungry? Come on, it's no big deal for me to bring it in. Just open the door already," Xavier insisted. He stood there holding the food, his patience clearly wearing thin.
If Zachary hadn't walked past the door at that moment, Xavier might've kept pressing her.
"Give it to me. I'll bring it in for her later," Zachary said.
