Freya didn’t know Louis that well, but she believed in the character written in the original story, that man the so called villain was never someone who would willingly rely on a woman for success. A man like that would never gamble his marriage just to make a comeback, at least not in the short term.

“This is something anyone could figure out with just a little thought, if he really liked you, then tell me, why didn’t you two get married before grandpa arranged for me to be in the picture? If it was just a matter of not being ready, then why weren’t you even a couple? You keep saying that he’s not the type to betray people, but right now you are the one trying to push him into betraying someone. And besides, you’re only doing this to satisfy your own feelings for him, you haven’t even considered his actual situation. Forgive me, but I don’t see any genuine love for him in you. All I see is a woman trying to satisfy her own selfish desires while convincing herself it’s love.
