“Those two? It happened during this shoot?” Freya found herself wondering if she had missed something. Come to think of it, she really hadn’t paid much attention to the male and female leads‘ private lives.

But honestly, what’s the point of digging into someone else’s love life? It’s not like I’m that bored. That thought clearly showed on her face, and Clara had to explain.

“Don’t think this stuff isn’t important. I know your usual environment isn’t this messy, but this industry’s different. Even as the screenwriter, the fire can still reach you. Fans are the absolute worst, and there’s not much you can do about them.”

Clara broke it down patiently.

“Take what I just said. If something really does happen and fans catch wind of it, they’ll start harassing everyone else in the cast to defend their idol’s ‘purity.’ If they come to you and you stay silent, they’ll call you cold–hearted. But if you say something, someone will twist your words. Either way, it’s a hassle. I just don’t want you getting dragged into something because you didn’t know the full picture.
