Alright, as long as the kid knew to stay alert, the adults could relax a little. The three of them walked to the main entrance. Since Freya had already bought the tickets online, they just needed to print them out. Compared to the long snaking lines at the ticket booths, their entrance was much smoother.
Inside the park, it was packed and lively. Both Freya and Louis were the kind of strikingly attractive people who could draw attention just by standing still. So when they entered, it was no surprise that heads turned and eyes followed. A few people even looked like they wanted to approach and start a conversation–until they noticed the cute kid being led by the hand between the two of them. That stopped them in their tracks.
Freya overheard some nearby chatter:
“Check out that couple with the kid–way too good–looking! For a second, I thought they were celebrities out for the day.”
“Sigh… too bad they’re both taken. Otherwise, I’d totally go try to chat them up.”
“Right? Like, seriously, do all the hot guys only go for gorgeous women now? What hope is there for the rest of us?”
“You’re still thinking about that? I just wanna say–look at that kid they’ve got with them. So cute, and he looks super well- mannered too. I hope I can have a son like that someday.”
“Girl, wake up. You and your husband don’t even have the looks. You think your kid’s gonna be a beauty?”
Freya almost laughed out loud listening to their banter. Too bad Aiden wasn’t actually her child, or she’d probably be bursting with pride.
Aiden tugged on her hand. “Freya, what should we do first?”
