Chapter 26~ The real thief

Lora’s laughter resonated around the conference room, making the employees stare at her as though she had grown an extra head.

Was she pretending to have lost her mind to avoid the repercussions of her actions? They couldn’t help but wonder.

Ryan frowned and asked again, “Miss Davis?”

The room fell silent as they waited for Lora’s response, still confused by her reaction. Why would she laugh happily in such a dire situation?
