“Miss L? The mysterious world–renowned designer?” Ryan furrowed his eyebrows and asked, his voice barely hiding his disbelief.

The tension in the room was so thick that one could cut through it with a knife. Everyone’s eyes were fixed on Lora, awaiting her response.

At the same time, Lora was calm, her face devoid of any emotions. No one could tell what she was thinking

Seeing Ryan glance at Lora with so much interest in his eyes, Ivy gritted her teeth and clutched the arms of her wheelchair tightly, her heart racing. Something told her she wouldn’t like the outcome of this meeting.

Sure enough, Lora took in a deep breath and finally admitted, “Yes. I am Miss L.”

Gasps, followed by whispers erupted in the room among the employees. Others had dropped their jaws to the floor and their eyes widened in shock.

“What?” Ryan stared at Lora incredulously. Lora is Miss L? What other secret was this woman hiding?

Ivy’s face turned pale at the revelation. ‘How could this bitch be Miss L? I’ve been trying to contact Miss L so that she could be my mentor. How could it be this bitch?‘

Meanwhile, Eloise smiled and looked at Lora. She said, “Miss Davis–or should I say, Miss L, I recognised your work because your design has your signature style. There’s no other designer who’s able to tell a story using their designs… that feat is impossible to copy.”

Hannah grinned from ear to ear, feeling proud of her boss. She remarked, “Of course, Miss Davis is the best when it comes to jewelry design. It’s laughable that some people thought she could copy their work.”

Hearing that, everyone finally came to terms with what had just been revealed. Lora Davis was Miss L, the talented genius designer. Why would she copy Ivy’s work?

“Wow, so Miss Davis was the legendary designer? I never knew she could be so young,” someone commented.

“Miss L, you’re a genius! You’ve only studied design for a few years and became so good! You’re my role model!”

“Miss Davis, we are so sorry we doubted you. Your work is exceptional!”

“I’m so honoured to work with you, Miss L.”

A smile crossed Lora’s lips. She said, “Thank you, everyone, but this is not how I wanted to reveal my identity. However, my reputation as a designer was on the line, I couldn’t let anyone steal my work and tarnish my image.”

Lora recalled how she worked harder than everyone else. Despite reuniting with her rich parents, she still tried her best to be successful. It wasn’t easy but her children gave her the strength to go on. She wanted to become someone they could be proud of.

“Ryan, are you going to believe this woman? She must be pretending to be Miss L! No one has ever seen Miss L. She’s never introduced herself to the public. Miss Davis is an imposter!” Ivy quickly said before Ryan could reply.

“Ryan, think this through. Why would Miss L get into a partnership with you? If she was really Miss L, she would have just used he putation to calm the board members at Davis & Co. We need to report this

Everyone watched the video and they recalled Miss L had won an international award a few months ago. Since her identity was a secret, no videos of her were released at that time.

“It can’t be…” Ivy shook her head in denial.

Ryan got to his feet, the air around him turning cold. He announced, “The winner of this contest is Miss
