Chapter 5
Tony’s usual smile instantly vanished. “Kate, making the same joke over and over isn’t funny anymore.”
Andrew impatiently put down his fork: “You’ve said twice now that you’re married, but how is that possible? You still have a love letter in your drawer! It’s for…”
At this, Ethan and Tony’s expressions suddenly changed, instantly losing their composure as they nervously grabbed him: “What love letter? For whom?”
Andrew shook off their hands and looked away awkwardly: “I never opened it to read it, I wouldn’t dare. How would I know?”
Katerina gave a self–mocking smile. She had indeed written a love letter before.
But now, there was no point in saying any of this.
“Young Miss, this ring… did you find this picture online?”
“I saw this diamond ring in a magazine. There’s only one in the whole world, completely unique and priceless. Just what kind of person did you marry?”
Katerina was also stunned, her mind slightly dazed. She hadn’t realized the ring would be so expensive.
