Married Ex-Fiancé’s Uncle (Abigail) novel Chapter 116

Chapter 116 Your Real Granddaughter
Abigail instantly recognized the voice.

It was Patricia - the woman who had caused trouble for Eddie yesterday.

Hearing Patricia yelling insults at Adela before even stepping inside, Troy's face darkened.

He slammed down his fork and stormed toward the door, ready to confront her.

Adela stopped. "What do you think you're doing? Get back here. That's your grandmother."

"But she's cursing you," Troy argued, his face filled with anger.

Before Adela could respond, Patricia barged in with Ryan and Patrick, along with her most spoiled Harry.

The moment she spotted the lavish breakfast spread on the table, her anger boiled over.

She thought, "I haven't eaten a single bite since yesterday and have practically fueled myself on sheer rage. Meanwhile, Adela is here, living it up?"

Patricia's body trembled with fury as she marched up to the table, hands poised to flip it over. "Adela, you heartless witch. You've got the nerve to sit here eating like this after what you've done to me?"

Troy was quick to react, pressing down on the table to stop Patricia just in time.

Infuriated, Patricia raised her hand, ready to slap him, but Troy dodged.

Adela remained calm. "It's early in the morning. Why are you so upset? Anger damages the liver—you should try to stay calm."

"Drop the act," Patricia spat, her voice dripping with venom. "If you cared about my health, you wouldn't have let this family raise a bastard for over twenty years.

"You conniving, vicious woman. You knew Caroline wasn't a Yannis, but you still sent me to make a fool of myself. Our family must've done something terrible in a past life to end up with someone like you as a daughter-in-law."
