Charlotte glanced at the clock, and a wave of embarrassment crossed her face as she spoke to Brian. "Sorry, I got caught up in work and completely lost track of time. Why don't we schedule all the treatments for the evening from now on? That way, it won't interfere with my job."
Brian frowned, reflecting his displeasure at her lack of punctuality. But with little room to argue, he gave a curt nod. "Okay."
As soon as the call ended, Charlotte packed up and left in a hurry. By the time she arrived at First Villa, it was already 8:00 pm.
She rushed to the door and rang the bell. When it opened, Kayden was the one who greeted her. His face lit up instantly. "Pretty Ma'am, you're here!"
"Mm, good evening," Charlotte replied with a nod. "Where's your father?"
Kayden pointed toward the living room. "Over there."
Charlotte followed his gesture. Brian was lounging on a leather couch in casual loungewear, listening as Henry gave a work report.
The sound of the doorbell had paused their conversation, and Brian turned toward the entrance.
Charlotte entered with Kayden and glanced around the villa.
The layout was strikingly similar to her own home, with one distinct difference: the decor. The minimalist gray-and-white tones gave the space a luxurious yet understated feel.
Each ornament on the shelves was carefully chosen, with each piece worth a small fortune. It was clear that the space reflected Brian's tastes perfectly.
Charlotte pulled her gaze away and turned her attention back to him. "Sorry for the delay. Work took longer than expected. Shall we begin?"
With Henry's help, he rose to his feet and made his way to the guest room on the first floor.
