Mr. Norman, She's Out of Your League Now novel Chapter 47

Kayden was worried. Without a second thought, he handed the kitten over to Henry. "Henry, can you hold this for me?" he said anxiously before dashing off to check on Amber.

Brian had already heard the commotion.

The moment he heard Amber's cry, his heart skipped a beat—it was as if Kayden had gotten hurt himself.

He immediately instructed Henry, "Go see what's going on."

"Yes, Mr. Norman!" Henry responded quickly and followed Kayden outside.

When they arrived, they found that Amber's arm had been scratched by a branch from the greenery.

It wasn't a deep wound, but it looked painful enough on her soft and delicate skin.

Henry frowned with concern. "We need to treat that right away," he said urgently.

Kayden gently took her hand, full of concern. "Come on, let's go inside and stop the bleeding!"

Amber was afraid of pain but didn't protest. She followed them quietly.

Back at the gazebo, Brian had already asked the housekeeper to bring the first-aid kit.

As the group returned, he asked, "Is it serious?"

Henry gave a quick update. "It's not too bad. Just a small scratch and a little bleeding."

Brian gave a calm and clear order. "Clean the wound with disinfectant, then cover it with a bandage."

That was the usual way they handled Kayden's minor scrapes, so it was routine to him.

Henry immediately pulled out the disinfectant and was about to apply it when Kayden suddenly said,

"Henry, let me do it. I'll take care of her."

He was afraid Henry might not be gentle enough and make it hurt more.
