Corinna
The alpha quickly moved across the small cell, ripping the chains from the wall somehow. He lifted Gia off the cold floor and into his arms, inhaling her scent deeply while I watched in complete shock. Gia gently pushed him away from her.
" I'm sorry who are you? " She questions, shaking her head in pure confusion.
" My name is Alpha Jack. " The Alpha speaks softly to her, moving his hand to touch her hand but she quickly takes a step backward and turns to me.
" Corinna what's going on? " she whispers to me, tears gathering in her eyes.
" Wolves.. We.. Well.. We have soul mates, the moon goddess.. Think of her kind of like a wolf matchmaker, she decides which souls belong together and creates a bond between them that's awakened when they meet and it seems that you're this guy's " I explain, nodding my head towards the alpha who is glaring at me.
" How do you know my mate?! " He growls, pulling Gia behind him as if to protect her.
" I highly doubt there's a point in that, even if I wanted to harm her, which I don't, I couldn't. You kind of have me chained to your cell. " I remind him, wiggling my fingers at him.
The alpha ignores me, turning to Gia. " Did she hurt you? "
" No! She saved my life, Corinna is my friend, she'd never hurt me. " I hear Gia say, I can't see her because of the Alpha who is shielding her from view.
" Very well. " The alpha nods then begins pulling her from the cell.
" Wait! What about Corinna? " Gia asks.
" She is dangerous. She's staying locked up until Alpha Cain comes for her. " He tells her, My uncle's name is enough to strike fear into my heart.
" What? Who? What are you talking about! Let her out! " Gia shouts, the alpha ignores her and slams the door shut. " Get off me! Let her out! " I can tell from her voice that she is doing her best to get out of her mate's grip.
" She used her bare hand to rip out a member of my pack's heart! She will stay where she is until her Alpha for her! " He shouts, I hear Gia whimper at this.
" Gia he wants me dead! My un- My alpha! Please Gia he'll kill me for what I am! " I cry out to her, begging for help.
My old pack is probably the one thing that I fear most in the world, they've come close to killing me too many times and frankly even though I desperately want to survive, if I have to die, I don't want it to be by my uncle or father's hand. I didn't survive the last three years only to be caught and killed by them in the end. Fate cannot be that cruel.
" Did you say Alpha Cain?.. " The woman in the corner croaks, her head still hanging with her greying hair over her face as it has been seen she was brought in here.
" Yes.. " I respond lowly, unsure of why she's chosen to stop being mute now.
" Why does he want you dead? " Her voice seems a little stronger as she speaks again but still not normal, I'm assuming that's the dehydration's fault.
" I... " I pause, unsure of what to say but then I realise we're both locked in a prison and neither of us are going anywhere anyway.. Not to mention if I don't find a way to escape before my uncle gets here I'm going to be dead. " I'm a hybrid. "
" Hybrid? " Her voice perks up slightly at this. " What exactly are you? "
" Half wolf... Half witch.. " I tell her, confused as to why that matters." Is.. " The woman very slightly lifts her head. " The alpha.. Cain.. Is Cain related to you? "
My eyebrows furrow. " yes he's my uncle. " this conversation is getting more confusing by the second.
