"Well if I'm Beatrix, I would definitely find this damn unfair and I of course wouldn't want to follow what the Alpha instructs me," Celina scoffed. "But baby, I think Beatrix has found her mate."

"What makes you think so?"

"I don't know. It's like girl's instinct or something? She's quite different ever since her birthday in a way that she's actually not as cheerful anymore."

"So how does that explains that she has met her mate?"

Celina shrugged.

"But Eddie, now that Celina brought this up, I also think so that Beatrix has found her mate. And her mate could be Alpha Brody," Sean said and I widened my eyes, asking him to explain. "Remember the first time Brody came? He was covered with blood and then Beatrix was the one who helped him. She stayed with him and then in the night, Brody actually came to me saying that he'd have a transport ready for him to go back to his pack house but Beatrix met me shortly after and told me on his behalf that Brody would be staying the night."

"The next day, you see Brody and Beatrix were all friendly and Beatrix didn't even call him by the tittle Alpha, unlike everyone else. Moving on to when I was supposed to send Brody back home, he told me to get Beatrix to hop into the car and send her to school first. Before Beatrix left the car, Brody kissed her on the cheeks. And if you realized another thing, Brody would always go to Beatrix whenever he came over."

I listened attentively to Sean as Celina gave me a light massage on my shoulder. I took in the information and thought that what Sean was saying could be true. Maybe Brody was really Beatrix's mate. Before Brody left, he informed that he was going to talk to Beatrix.

Then Celina said that Beatrix wasn't as cheerful anymore. Probably because Brody wasn't ready to be serious due to the things that was happening around him such that the rogues and now that his sister was in the rogue's hand.

I'd have to talk to Beatrix about this.

Brody

I made my way slowly to Beatrix's resting room. The rogues, the damn rogues attacked my pack again last night. And not forgetting that they still have my sister in their hands. I wondered why they were still not calling for war. Oh, of course they wouldn't. All they would just do would be attacking suddenly and made us all loss.

Groaning, I opened the door to Beatrix's room and saw that she was up. She was frowning while looking at me. "Are you alright, Beatrix?" I asked as I closed the door behind me and walked towards her.

"Yeah. I was just looking...uh, never mind."

"Who are you looking for?" I asked, trying to get her to finish what she wanted to say.
