Chapter 196 Who Says That He Is Plan B? 

Allred thought, Mr. Webster never leaves early. He’s usually the last one to leave the company. But today he left before he handled all the work affairs. 

Could Ms. Longfellow have something to do with that? 

Alfred was right. Nathaniel drove directly to Janet’s villa. 

He sat in the car, his fingers unconsciously tapping on the steering wheel. He was extremely agitated. 

He said to himself, what the hell am I doing here at her door? 

Nathaniel felt that he might be out of his mind, but there was another kind of power controlling him to stop here. 

Nathaniel glanced at the gate of Janet’s neighborhood for the seventh time. 

He thought, why hasn’t she come back? 

Didn’t she at that party? It’s already late. She should be at home now. 

Nathaniel’s expression became ugly green. He dialed a number but then hung up. His eyes were fixed on the gate. 

Janet didn’t know that she was being watched by Nathaniel. 

Nigel was driving very steadily. It was different from his personality. Along the way, the breeze puffed Janet’s face and she gradually became sober. When they arrived, Nigel considerately went to the passenger seat to open the door for her. 

“Thank you, Mr. Wheeler. You are a gentleman,” Janet smiled at Nigel. 

Nigel cooperated by making a knight salute. “Then please get out of the car, beautiful lady.” 

When Nigel and Janet’s hands met, Nathaniel grasped the steering wheel tightly. The veins stood out on the back of his hand. 

When Janet got out of the car, she didn’t pay attention to the ground. She staggered and fell into Nigel’s arms with a scream. 

Nigel subconsciously held her soft body. 

However, he maintained his demeanor as a gentleman and did not hold Janet too tight. He was only gently supporting her. However, in the outsiders‘ eyes, they were completely embracing each other. 

After Janet straightened her body, she smiled apologetically. 

“Thank you for today…” 

Before she could finish her words, a man’s figure suddenly appeared like a dark cloud pressing down and Nigel was abruptly punched hard 

in the face.

That man had waved his fist so hard and quickly that the flowing air even brought up Janet’s hair. 

Before Janet could react, Nigel had bent down, half kneeling on the ground.. 

“Nathaniel?” 

Janet was stunned when she saw the man’s face clearly. 

The malice in Nathaniel’s eyes hadn’t faded yet. He looked at Janet with suppressed forbearance in his eyes. Nigel wasn’t someone to be 

trifled with. He stood up and kicked Nathaniel in the abdomen. 

They started fighting with each other. 

However, the two men looked especially gloomy. They said nothing and only the sound of the wind from the fist and the muffled sound of 

the fist hitting the flesh could be heard. I 

Janet came back to her senses and looked at the men in front of her who were grappling with each other. She found it ridiculous! 

Who would dare to believe that the two men who usually acted like total gentlemen were now fighting with each other? 

Janet stood in front of Nigel. Nathaniel’s fist had already stretched out, and it was so close to hitting her face. 

Nathaniel was outraged. “What are you doing?” 

He almost hurt her! 

Janet looks at Nathanlel, her eyes full of anger. Then she pulled Nigel and was about to leave. 

Nathaniel couldn’t be angrier. 

He blurted out, “I didn’t realize before that my ex–wife was so popular. So many men had fallen for you, and now there is another one. Janet, which of them is your real legal boyfriend?” 

Janet tightened her grip on Nigel. She stopped walking and looked indifferently at Nathaniel, who was speaking without thinking. 

A trace of discomfort flashed through Nathaniel’s heart, but he just couldn’t hold back the words when he saw Janet holding Nigel’s hand. 

“That star, that puppy boy, and now Mr. Wheeler, Janet, does Mr. Wheeler know that you are so popular?” 

Janet suddenly laughed. 

“Haha!” She stared at Nathaniel with her dark eyes. 

Nathaniel was shocked by the disdain in her eyes.
