Chapter 263 What’s Wrong With Him? 

Nathaniel was stunned for a moment.

Soon, he blurted out, “How is that possible?”

Until then, Nathaniel recovered his composure. He felt that something was

wrong.

“Janet, what do you mean?” Nathaniel looked sullen instantly.

smile while scolding and insulting him.

Janet lifted her chin and raised her brow. With a snort, she said, “Mr. Webster,

don’t you understand my words? I appreciate you for saving me and will

repay you. Then, we are even. Let’s not meet each other anymore.”

Nathaniel’s face was racked with rage. Just then, Janet’s words occurred to

him. He realized that they had divorced and surprisingly calmed down.

He couldn’t help being in a trance for a while.

He thought of how they divorced. Back then, he had been looking down upon

her, which was mostly due to her fake pregnancy.

He believed that Janet lied to him.

He thought that Janet pretended to be pregnant to draw his attention.

However, it seemed that there was something behind it.

Janet probably was indeed pregnant back then. They had lost a child.

He might have blamed her wrongly back then.

Thinking of this, Nathaniel suppressed his anger and calmed himself down.

He didn’t know what to say, and he didn’t want to cut off his connection with

Janet either.
