Chapter 450 Made Her Change
She didn’t know if it was uncomfortable to hear Doris compare Kade and Donahue, or because Doris was so self–deprecating. Janet felt sad.
Doris was an orphan. If she hadn’t learned how to have fun in suffering, she wouldn’t be alive now.
She blinked at Janet. “You don’t have to pity me. I think living like this is good.
“However, if you really want to help me, introduce me to more lucrative jobs so that I can get away as soon as possible.”
Doris‘ indifferent appearance made Janet unable to defend Donahue. In the final analysis, he was too strong and eager, and he couldn’t learn to take it easy on his feelings.
“Okay, don’t worry, I will arrange work for you as soon as possible to help you escape from Donahue.”
She curled her fingers and made a scratching motion.
Doris was amused and looked at Janet with gratitude.
“Then you do your work. I have an announcement for a while. I will go back first.”
Looking at Doris‘ thin back, Janet sighed.
“Donahue, you are a genius in business. But why are you a fool about your feelings?”
Janet casually drew a tall human on the paper and poked his head back and forth with her
pen.
“It seems that your journey of love will take a long time…”
There was a knock on the door of the office. Janet turned back the paper with Donahue on it and became a shrewd strong woman again. “Come in.”
Marco pushed the door open and walked in. “Ms. Longfellow, the new professional manager Mr. Floyd is here.”
Janet stood up and subconsciously straightened her clothes. “Ask him to come in.”
After she finished sorting her clothes, she realized something was wrong.
What was she doing?
But just to meet a future colleague, why did she stand up and sort out her clothes? Was it necessary to be so formal?
Before she could sort out her thoughts, a tall figure appeared at the door.
Chitt walked in. A well–tailored black shirt made him look more dignified than when they met in the café that day, like a dangerous lone wolf.
Janet put away her thoughts just now and stretched out her hand. “Mr. Floyd, welcome to join the Longfellow Group.” Chapter 450 Made Her Change
Chitt calmly stretched out his hand to shake hands with Janet. “Ms. Longfellow, nice to meet you.”
The moment their hands held together, the feeling she felt in the café that day rustled out again, spreading all over her body.
Janet’s fingertips trembled. But she kept calm. She withdrew her hand calmly. “I’ll take Mr. Floyd to see the company’s
environment.”
Chitt didn’t seem to notice Janet’s strangeness, with one hand in his pocket, he smiled. His eyebrows were delicate, so there was a faint glamorous feeling on his face.
“Then thank you.”
Janet nodded slightly and walked out first. The strange feeling seemed to be her illusion, and it disappeared under Chitt’s smile.
Everyone in the Longfellow Group heard that a big shot had come to the company. The leaders of the relevant groups rushed over.
Surrounded by people, Janet and Chitt walked around the Longfellow Group.
“This is the archive room. Some materials in the early days of the Longfellow Group were handwritten. So this archive room has been kept. If Mr. Floyd is interested, you can swipe your card to enter.”
Janet handed Chitt an identity card. The golden seal on it indicated that the holder could enter and exit any place in the Longfellow Group except Janet’s office.
Chitt took the card, his eyebrows raised slightly, showing interest.
The playful expression with his rebellious temperament combined into a fatal attraction. All the female employees present gasped.
“I have just joined the company, and Ms. Longfellow trusts me so much. Don’t you be afraid that I will take the opportunity to steal your business secrets?”
Janet raised her chin slightly. “I dare to give Mr. Floyd this card, of course, I believe in Mr. Floyd. And besides…”
A casual smile appeared on her face, showing her confidence and arrogance. She said softly, “I also believe that no one can do anything detrimental to the company under my nose!”
He couldn’t help getting closer to Janet, his arm was close to her shoulder.
“The layout of this archive room is a waste of space. I suggest that Ms. Longfellow use it for other purposes.”
