William bought the house next door to save time, paying twice the market price just to be close to Lexi

“Lexi, how about I take you out for some fun later?” William glanced at the weather forecast. It looked like a good day to let the child get some fresh air. 

He dared not decide alone, so he asked Lexi first before calling Linda. It was a bit of a sneaky tactic on his part. If Lexi was excited about it, Linda would have difficulty saying no. 

Lexi had been going out more often lately, which left her craving for more time outdoors. The moment she heard she could go out, her eyes brightened 

“Yes, please! It’s been three days since I’ve been outside.” Lexi counted with her little fingers. 

“Alright, let me call your mom. It she agrees, we’ll go out and have some fun. If she doesn’t, then we’ll play at home,” Willam said. 

“Okay, godfather. Call Mommy quickly!” Lexi requested. 

William pulled out his phone and dialed Linda’s number. 

Linda had recently taken him off the blacklist, mainly because he spent too much time at their house with Lexi 

He wasn’t experienced with caring for kids, so sometimes he needed to call her for advice. 

Moreover, they still needed to discuss various issues with the projects that the Wilson Group had transferred so she couldn’t blackdist him anymore.
