“Is there something wrong between you and your wife?”

Jacques, sitting in the car, watched Gideon staring at the home surveillance footage of Felicia, and could not help but reasonably suspect that something was off about Gideon.

After all, Gideon was always in the best mood whenever he was with Felicia.

Yet today, he had left the earliest and was watching the home surveillance, which clearly indicated that the two of them had had a disagreement.

Felicia did not want to act strange in front of Abigail, so she avoided Gideon’s gaze and went to hug Abigail.

“Yes, I finished early. Where did you go?”

He thought Felicia would make up an excuse.

But to his surprise, she quieted down and did not react even when Abigail kissed her, as if she was lost in thought.

A sudden uneasiness rose in Gideon’s heart.

Felicia became excited.
