A Kiss A Midnight

LITTLE SURPRISE

The cool air hits my face the moment I stepped out of the house

I was still overwhelmed by the moment shared with my dad, never in a million years had I ever thought we would one day have an heart to heart. And never had I thought that one day would be today.

It all just felt so surreal, that I had to pinch myself just to be sure it did happen. So the fact that he had suggest a father and daughter bonding tomorrow, which I was actually looking forward too already.

Taking in a deep breath, I couldn’t deny there was still a little part of me that was still skeptical about the whole thing as well. I wasn’t sure what had happen last night to bring about a change to him, or what this new version of him meant, but I ako. wanted to believe it could mean something good.

A smile touches my lips when I spot my car, with Caelum at the driver’s seat, his gaze down, staring at his phone. I made my way toward the car, and the moment the door open, and I got in, his face lifts up and a smile instantly graced his lips.

He close his phone, placing it down as the familiar warmth of his smile still remains. But they were quick to disappear as his gaze moved over my face, replaced by worry.

His lips parted. “Delilah, what..” I didn’t let him finish as I lean across the space between us, pressing my lips against his. cutting him off completely.

I moved from my seat, situating myself on his thighs as his scent floats into my soul, goosebumps erupting on my skins as I groan into his mouth. I hadn’t expected to deepen the kiss, but the moment my lips met his, it was impossible to stop kissing those perfectly soft, tasty lips of his.

And it seems like I wasn’t the only one who felt that way, as he places his hands on my butt, squeaking and making me let out a groan into his mouth. His touch sending a zings of electricity in me, making me want more at this more.

He kisses me back fervently, eyes close, with desperation on his face. I wasn’t sure if I was up for doing it in the car, a couple of feet down my house, but this was going to be a new experience for him, and the thought of it sent a thrill of excitement down my body.

I bit down on his lip, making him let out a groan into my mouth as he pulls me impossibly closer. My hands slips down to his neck and I broke apart for a second to catch my breath and then went back to his lips, kissing him with so much power.

Just when my hands down to his pants, ready to undo the button and zipper, when a loud buzz of phone ringing file the room. Irritation slams through me, not wanting to end this. But who ever was on the line was relentless, forcing us apart agaisnt our will.

Caelum groans agaisnt my lips before finally pulling away, his forhead resting against mine for a second. “We are getting back to this later,” he murmured, cupping my cheeks before leaning down to give me a soft lingering peck on my lips

A frown hitched on my brow, hating the fact that I had to move from him, and I could tell he was too, seeing as he was reluctant to let me go.

Eventually, he shifted, forcing me to slide back into my seat as he reaches for his phone where he had placed it, and that was when I caught glimpse of the name on the screen and my heart sank.

My stomach twisted, but I quickly schooled my expression. Why was Olivia calling him? I glanced away before he could notice, and he stared down at his phone for a moment before answering.

I couldn’t hear Olivia’s voice clearly and I wasn’t trying to listen, definitely not, and just sat there, pretending like my heart wasn’t racing.

Caelum kept his expression neutral that I couldn’t tell what he was thinking. “Yeah,” he says after a couple of seconds, and there we a pause before add, “okay.”

“Yeah, i understand. You don’t have to,” he says again, turning to look at me, and his lips rises up slightly in a smile, to which I return with one that didn’t reach my eyes. “I know, Olivia. Thank you.”

Then the call ended, and that was it. There was no explanation or an obvious reason for her to call, which made me even. more curious. And though I wasn’t sure I wanted to know, at the same time I wanted to ask what she wangled.

The question sitting right on the tip of my tongue, but I swallowed it, not wanting to be too forward or acting like some jealous girlfriend which I wasn’t.

Caelum started the car and my attention turned toward the window, pretending to be fascinated by everything outside. I felt him glance at me, but Ignore it. Then a moment later, his hand found mine, causing me to finally meet his glance.

He lifts my hand toward his mouth, pressing a soft kiss against the center of my palm, the gesture immediately melts some of the tension inside me.

“I want to take you somewhere,” he said.

The curiousity Ritched in my brows. “Where?”

His lips curved. “It’s a surprise.”

I groaned a little bit dramatic. “I hate surprises.”

“I doubt you do,” he chuckles softly. “I know you secretly love it.”

“Depends on who and if the surprise is worth it.”

Then he chuckles again. “Trust me, it is,” he says as he pulls onto the road.

I rolled my eyes, but couldn’t stop the smile tugging at my lips, maybe I didn’t hate surprises, now when they came from him. Still, as Caelum drove, my mind kept circling back to the phone call as I stared out the window, trying desperately not to think about it.

“Keep those eyes shut,” Caelum warned, laughing when I tried to sneak a look.

I immediately squeeze them close, “Oh, come on, seriously? You’re pulling the whole mysterious surprise routine on me?” i planted my foot, earning another laugh from him.

“I never said I was blindfolding you,” he says ever so innocently, my mind already traveling to the dirtiest alley, being tied up by the bed. A blindfold not allowing me to see Caelum resting between my legs, eating my pussy like it was his last freaking ass meal.

I tried not to clench my thighs at the thought of it, and say instead. “That’s not the point.”
