I spun around abruptly, resolutely walking towards the man as if surrounded by flames from hell. Without hesitation, I stepped behind him, reaching out gently to wrap my arms around his tense waist.

“Ashley! Have you lost your mind? Get out of here, now!” He felt my touch and roared like thunder, the sheer force in his voice enough to terrify anyone. He jerked away, trying to shove me aside.
