Alice, The White Werewolf novel Chapter 7

With the remaining strength that Mate had, he accelerated his running legs and continued running until Alpha's presence was invisible.

"It seems that we are already far from the damn wolf!" Said Mate after stopping his footsteps and stopping under a big tree.

Mate laid me down and treated the wound that was on my leg with a leaf that he had chewed with his teeth. Sometimes it seems like my feet are sweating. He seemed so sincere about helping me.

"Hopefully the wound dries quickly." "For a while we rest here," said Mate with a breathless sigh.

Mate sat leaning against the tree right next to me.

"Oh, my god! "This place is just like when I came out of that magic door," says Mate all of a sudden.

"What? The Magic Door?" I asked with a frown.

"Yes, I was able to get here because I passed through a magical door, or rather, a mysterious black halo. "I don't remember very clearly because it was so brief, until I was suddenly in this place," Mate said as he looked around him.

"Where is that door now?" I asked who else also participated in the search for the whereabouts of the mysterious passageway, as Mate said.

"I'm looking for him too!"

Mate then got back up and walked around, looking towards the corner of the forest.

However, it is not a magic door that we find, but the sound of a wolf howling that suddenly appears from a distance.

"That voice?" I was surprised.

"Shit! "Looks like Alpha knows where we are!"

"So, what should we do?"

"We have to move!"

"What?"

"Come on, we have to move out of this place!"

"But, my legs still hurt, and I can't run yet!"

"Have you forgotten that I was always with you?" Come on! We don't have time! The sound of the wolves' howling was getting more and more clearly audible; it meant that they were getting closer to our existence! Come on!"

For the second time, Mate took my hand and carried me in front of his body. I felt Mate take a deep breath and then come back running very fast.

Like flying, that's how I felt when Mate took me running. I saw his face closer. I saw his sharp gaze concentrate on looking toward the front. I held on to his body very tightly, as Mate had said before.

And I also feel Mate's heartbeat as if merging with my heartbeat.

"Could it be that what I feel is the same as what Mate feels?" "I don't know why I can think and feel it when I myself don't know what I feel the same," I muttered in my heart.

The longer Mate carried me and asked me to run, the more I believed that Mate was a person who really, sincerely cared about me. Although I was upset with Mate at the time of our first meeting, I quickly warmed up to him.

Mate kept me running until he finally took me to a cave that was so dark.

"Shhh! Don't make a sound! "The wolves will hear us!" command mate while whispering in my ear.

Mate is so good at playing with our lips until our tongues touch each other. When we were both lulled by the pleasure of the sudden kiss, suddenly there we were, both surprised by a sound like a falling object that was quite loud.

Soon our lips parted again. We look awkward. Immediately, I reflexively touched my lips with my fingers. as if I couldn't believe what had just happened.

"What sound is that?" "I'll check it out!" After a few seconds of silence, say "Mate."

Mate walked away and stepped a foot deeper into the cave.

"Is anyone there?" screamed Mate in a resounding voice.

After waiting for Mate for a few minutes, he returned with a light that came from the wood he burned.

"Mate? "Where did you get that fire?" I asked.

"I did not find the source of the sudden sound that sounded so loud, but I looked from some crevices in the rocks and I saw something glowing from within." "And you know what that is?"

"What?" I asked curiously.

"After I approached, the beam came from one of the small stones that was squeezed by several large stones. "I took it, and I rubbed the stone into the cold cave until the fire appeared," said Mate.

"Wow! And the light from the fire was so beautiful. "He's been our only source of light while we've been here," I said happily.

Yeah, I'm happy because I can see Mate's face so clearly. Although his face looks very tired and the clothes are not as clean as in the normal world, his charisma still radiated.

Mate put out the fire and then looked back at me. Mate slowly walked towards me with a facial expression like he was about to say something.
