Cecelia snapped out of it and grabbed Hendrick.
“Run! It’s a level 4 zombie!”
“Level 4?”

Hendrick gasped. He immediately threw Cecelia over his shoulder again and ran back the way they came.
Oliver looked at the screaming Harvey, then at the fleeing Hendrick and Cecelia.
He turned around and started chasing them again.
“Ghh…”
Harvey died with his eyes wide open.
The level 4 zombie was covered in blood as it feasted on him. It still seemed unsatisfied. It reached out, dug out Harvey’s eyeballs, and popped them into its mouth like candy. Crunch, crunch.
Cecelia saw everything from far away.
As the creature turned around, she saw its eyes–they were pure white with no pupils!
That was the signature look of a level 4 zombie.
That idiot Harvey…
Did he try to control a level 4 zombie and get himself eaten instead?
The thought alone gave Cecelia goosebumps.
They had already put some distance Heating Harvey.
etween them. The level 4 zombie didn’t chase them; it was still busy
Obviously, the level 4 zombie showed no mercy for the food that tried to control it.
Was it planning to finish eating him first, then come after them?
Cecelia frowned. She didn’t expect to run into a level 4 zombie in the middle of nowhere.
Now things might get troublesome.
Hendrick quickly brought her back to where Regina was hiding.
He set Cecelia down.
Regina was awake now, and a few other women were huddling near her.
Cecelia asked her how she was feeling.
“The attacks stopped right before Hendrick left me,” Regina said.
“That’s because Harvey couldn’t handle attacking you while trying to control a level 4 ability user and a level 4 zombie at the same time. And now, he’s dead.”

Cecelia glanced in a direction behind them. Her expression turned serious. “We need to get out of here!”
Regina was shocked.
She didn’t expect Harvey to die so quickly.
She was about to ask something when she saw a stranger walking toward them.
“Hendrick, Cecelia… Someone’s coming. Is he one of Harvey’s people?”
Cecelia turned and looked.
The person following them was Oliver!
He was clearly back to his senses now.
There was no killing intent on his face.
But his swollen eye–barely open to a thin slit–was staring straight at them.
“Let’s move,” Cecelia said.
She didn’t slow down, heading straight back the way they came.
Hendrick didn’t say anything and quickly followed.
Regina didn’t want to get left behind.
The five women, including Leanna, were terrified and stayed glued to the group, afraid of being left behind.
Twenty minutes later.
Cecelia looked back for the second time.
The level 4 zombie hadn’t followed them.
But she still didn’t stop walking.
Hendrick asked, “That level 4 zombie is hard to deal with?”
Cecelia pressed her lips together. “With just the two of us and having to protect Regina? Definitely. And we don’t have extra crystals to recharge. It’s too risky. We need to regroup with the team first.”
“Makes sense.”
Hendrick rarely saw her look this worried.
And she was right..
Zombies didn’t care about anything except killing.
But they did. They had to keep their teammates alive and make sure they also survived.

Chapter 166 Run for Your Life
Ivy and the others had been waiting in the car for almost five hours.
It was already dark outside.
There was still no sign of Cecelia coming back.
Ivy was worried. She kept staring in oncon, hoping to see them back.
“Ivy, want something to eat?”
Amber was chewing on some bread while handing another piece to Ivy.
Ivy frowned. “I don’t have an appetite. Cece still isn’t back.”
“She’ll definitely be fine!” Amber said confidently.

She had total faith in her. “If Cecelia comes back and sees you were too worried to eat, she’ll be unhappy.”
Ivy fell silent.
Then, she sighed and took the bread.
“They’re back.”
Jerome, who’d been sitting quietly in the car for a long time, suddenly spoke. He looked toward the hillside.
Ivy’s heart jumped. She instantly lost all interest in the bread.
She pushed the car door open, got out, and walked toward the hillside.
