Chapter 27 Time to Check My Guess

Ryan instinctively rolled to the side while shouting in surprise.

Hendrick and Timothy dodged at the same time.

The huge blanket fell straight from above.

“Thud!”

The red–eyed zombie was completely covered by the blanket!

It couldn’t move.

It started letting out angry growls.

Timothy’s eyes sharpened as he got ready to unleash his ice blade.

But then he realized his ability was drained.

The ice blade he wanted to form was only the size of a thumb.

If he threw it, it wouldn’t kill the zombie.

It could only tear the blanket!

His expression shifted. He quickly grabbed a dagger and rushed forward!

Hendrick started moving too.

They went in one after the other.

One took the zombie down. The other swung the dagger without hesitation.

*Slice!

“Crack!”

The sharp dagger sank in.

The skull shattered.

Two sounds rang out at the same time.

The zombie under the blanket stopped moving.

Hendrick panted and tore the blanket off.

Its mouth was still open, as if trying to cry for help.

“It’s dead.”

Hendrick frowned and looked at Timothy.

Timothy let out a relieved breath.

Fighting this zombie earlier had drained him completely.

Ryan hurried over to check. “Is it dead?”

He had thought it was Cecelia and was just about to yell at her to get it off his chest.

But since it was Matthew, he let it go.

After all, he could still share a blanket with him tonight.

“Is it dead? Is it the same kind of mutated zombie as earlier?” Regina asked Timothy, hurrying over.

Instead, she turned her gaze to Cecelia.
