Timothy nodded. Then he handed one of the level 2 zombie crystals to Ivy.

Ivy quickly took it. She looked at everyone and spoke gently, “Thank you, everyone. I’ll work hard to let up. I’ll try to break through to level 3 so I can heal everyone faster and better!”

Cecelia was fairly satisfied with this arrangement.

Ivy and the others stood up and looked outside.

Timothy pulled out the handgun at his waist and glanced at Hendrick.

Hendrick narrowed his eyes dangerously and drew his pistol as he stepped forward.

Behind the truck, the car door opened.

A man and two women stepped out.

“Zera?”

The moment Cecelia saw the woman getting out of the passenger seat, her pupils shrank.

Zera Lowe was Sabrina’s cousin.

And she was just like Sabrina.

Cecelia ignored him.

She turned to Ivy and said seriously, “The woman from the passenger seat is Zera. Ivy, stay away from her

Then she added to Matthew, “You too. Stay away from her.”

Matthew blinked in surprise.

He didn’t expect Cecelia to warn him so seriously.

Just who was this Zera?

Everyone felt confused by Cecelia’s warning.

Cecelia didn’t explain; she had already decided what to do.

No matter what, she had to find a way to kill Zera.

She absolutely could not let Zera team up with Sabrina.

In her previous life, Ivy had died. And Matthew had been completely manipulated by those two women.

That was why she warned them.

As for Regina, Timothy, and Hendrick–they were smart people.

After more than a month in the apocalypse, everyone knew one thing clearly.

Human hearts were the most unpredictable.

They had experienced that over the past month.

Ryan, on the other hand, wasn’t worth worrying about.

That guy was simple–minded.

In his eyes, men and women were the same. Only strength mattered.

Zera’s tricks would never work on him.

“Sorry for disturbing you. My name is Brian Gill. This is Zera Lowe, my girlfriend. And this is Amber Gill, my sister. We escaped from Redbrook, a small town near Sylcreek.”

Brian looked ordinary. He raised both hands to show he meant no harm, then introduced himself and the two women beside him.

Timothy’s expression turned cold. Slowly, he lowered his gun but kept his guard up. “Why were you following us?” he asked sharply.

Zera was beautiful and looked gentle and harmless. She spoke softly to Timothy and Hendrick, “Don’t get us wrong. We haven’t seen other survivors for a long time while escaping. When we noticed your group. we were so happy that we followed you. We really mean no harm.”

Amber looked plain.

She stood quietly behind Brian with her lips pressed together, saying nothing.
