"Ms. Quinn," Edmund said.
"What is it?" Madison set her phone aside and looked up.
Composed and professional, Edmund explained, "When you went missing, Mr. Goodwin captured Johnny and Kaitlyn and interrogated them.
"He's kept them locked in the storage room. Now that you've returned, he wants to know how you wish to deal with them."
Madison froze. She hadn't expected Sam to actually capture them and keep them locked up this whole time.
Once her shock faded, she remembered what Sam had told her earlier. Her eyes narrowed.
"Take me to them," she said.
"Alright." Edmund nodded. He got a maid to help Madison into the wheelchair and push her to the backyard storage.
Before they even entered, an awful stench hit her. She covered her nose. "Ugh, what is that smell? Did someone take a dump in there?"
Edmund stayed silent because that was exactly what had happened. After being locked up for three days, Kaitlyn and Johnny had no choice but to do their business inside.
As he was deep in thought, frantic voices sounded from inside.
"Maddie, is that you?"
"Maddie, did you come to save us?"
A cold glint flickered in Madison's eyes. She turned to Edmund. "I'm not going in. Bring them out."
She refused to smell whatever that was.
