For the next few days, Madison remained at Northcrest Villa to recuperate.
Sam was so busy that there was no sign of him at all. Although they were staying under the same roof, they hadn't seen each other for days.
However, Madison knew that Sam was busy trying to tidy up the mess that she had made. Although she missed him very much, she did not kick up a fuss and merely instructed the house staff to send lunch and dinner to the office punctually every day.
In the blink of an eye, half a month had gone by, and Madison was finally fully recovered. However, she was bothered by the sight of the worm-like scar on her right ankle.
A sudden thought came to her. She took a photo of the scar and sent it to Sam.
"Sam, it left a scar. It's so ugly…" At the end of her message, she sent a sticker of a pitiful-looking kitten.
Sam looked at the photo of her calf that she had sent to him. It was so fair and smooth that it looked like a work of art, and he immediately felt heat rise up inside him.
Even the scar that Madison said looked ugly seemed attractive to him.
"It's not ugly."
"If that bothers you, I'll contact a cosmetic medicine clinic so you can have a scar-removal procedure."
Madison smiled when she saw his messages. She picked up a grape and popped it into her mouth before typing slowly.
"I don't want a scar-removal procedure. I want to get a tattoo on my ankle. It'll be a mark that belongs only to you."
Sam's breathing became heavy when he saw the last few words. If that was the case…
He wanted to put that mark on her himself. "I'll go with you in a few days."
"Alright. I'll be waiting for you, Sam."
Madison wasn't surprised that Sam had agreed. Just as she was about to ask him when he would get off work, Brett called.
