Begging for a Second Chance (Sienna Sloan and Jarred Sterling) novel Chapter 114

Helena and Eleanor deeply despised Sienna's overbearing attitude.

But this matter was ultimately a scandal for the Sterlings, and they absolutely could not let outsiders spread the word.

Eleanor immediately waved her hand, ordering coldly, "Clear the room! Everyone get out!"

The bodyguards immediately moved, clearing out all the medical staff as well as the onlookers in the hallway.

As Lynn walked past Sienna, she looked at her with eyes full of worry, her feet dragging, refusing to leave.

"Dr. Sloan..."

Sienna curved her lips slightly, giving her a reassuring look, silently telling her not to worry.

Within moments, the hospital room door was slammed shut by the bodyguards, cutting off all eyes from the outside.

Inside the enclosed space, the tension reached a breaking point, and a suffocating wave of hostility rushed forward.

Eleanor glared viciously at Sienna, her gaze toxic and ruthless. "Since we didn't beat you to death last time, you should have tucked your tail between your legs and hidden far away. I never expected you to actively walk right into the line of fire!"

She paused, her fingers tapping against the armrest of her wheelchair. "If I don't make you pay for Celeste's leg today, my name means nothing!"

With that, she gave a pointed look to the bodyguard.

Getting the message, the bodyguard immediately stepped forward, reaching out to grab Sienna.

Sienna dodged to the side.

"Stop right there!"

Just then, a large hand suddenly shot out, violently wrenching the bodyguard's arm back in a brutal twist.

The man's voice was deep and terrifying, carrying an undeniable, absolute authority.

It made the bodyguard freeze instantly in place.

Before anyone could react, Jarred was already taking large strides forward.

His tall, broad-shouldered frame positioned itself firmly in front of Sienna, completely shielding her behind him.

Taking it, Eleanor tapped the screen a few times.

Instantly, Sienna heard a familiar, trembling voice coming from the tablet. "Dr... Dr. Sloan... save me..."

Sienna's pupils violently shrank.

Lynn!

Eleanor held the tablet up right in front of Sienna's face.

The moment the screen lit up, Sienna's heart tightened painfully.

Lynn was being ruthlessly pinned down by two bodyguards in black suits, her arms locked tight. A dagger was pressed right against her neck, the blade glinting with a cold light. Just a fraction more pressure, and it would slice through her skin.

Sienna could already see a thin trail of blood trickling down her neck.

Eleanor's voice rang out, "Sienna, as long as you grovel and beg Celeste for forgiveness, and pay her back with one of your legs, I'll let this little girl go."
