Begging for a Second Chance (Sienna Sloan and Jarred Sterling) novel Chapter 116

Sienna let out a scoff of disbelief. "Jarred, do you really think I'm a three-year-old child? I don't believe a single word any of you Sterlings say!"

"Sienna Sloan! If you dare touch Celeste, I'll bury that little intern along with her!" Eleanor threatened fiercely.

"Fine." Sienna didn't yield an inch, her grip tightening on the stun baton. "We can all meet in hell together, no one will be lonely. But before we go..."

She pressed the stun baton down another inch.

"I'll definitely make sure Celeste leads the way!"

Her eyes were utterly ruthless, her expression incredibly cold.

Watching her act like this, Helena felt a sudden jolt of terror.

She had witnessed Sienna's temper before.

This girl looked gentle, but she was someone who absolutely kept her word. If pushed past her breaking point, she was capable of anything.

Eleanor was also caught off guard by this completely reckless, death-defying energy, her face draining of color.

Celeste sobbed so hard she could barely catch her breath. "No... Eleanor! Helena! Save me..."

Helena was pacing back and forth in a frantic panic, wanting to step forward but too terrified to do so. "Si... Sienna, don't be rash, we can talk this out calmly..."

"Release Lynn." Holding the stun baton, Sienna stared at Eleanor with a freezing gaze.

Eleanor gritted her teeth, refusing to back down.

During the standoff, Sienna stopped wasting words. She cranked the stun baton straight to maximum power, the blue and white electric current crackling violently.

She reached out, lifted a strand of Celeste's long hair near her ear, and jammed it straight against the stun baton.

"Bzzzz—"

With a screeching crackle, the hair instantly caught fire, sparks flying everywhere.

"Ah!"

Celeste let out a bloodcurdling scream, her entire body convulsing in sheer terror.

Sienna stared directly at Celeste, her eyes carrying a deep, long-suppressed hatred.

"It's not that I don't know how to play the game, I'm just too lazy to waste my acting skills on you," Sienna's voice was deathly cold.

"You couldn't take my life at Eagle's Point. I survived specifically to be here today for revenge!"

Before the words had even finished echoing, and before anyone could react.

Sienna raised the stun baton high in the air and, using every ounce of strength in her body, smashed it viciously toward Celeste's injured leg.

"Bang—"

With a massive crash, the stun baton slammed down onto Celeste's leg. In the exact same moment, a powerful force suddenly yanked Sienna back from behind.

"Celeste! Celeste—"

Sienna felt the whole world spin around her.

She heard a familiar voice yelling in her ear, but the name he called wasn't hers.
