After the despicable things Xavier had done, Willow was no longer prepared to save him any face.
When Lucian heard her say this, a flash of heartache crossed his gaze. "I'll find the evidence of Xavier kidnapping you so you can sue him."
Willow smiled at him. "Thank you for that."
With the Jagger family's backing, Willow was determined to sever her ties with the Shaw family once and for all. More importantly, she was going to use this opportunity to take back the inheritance her mother had left her.
Just the thought of her mother's precious belongings ending up in Tessa's dowry made Willow thoroughly sick to her stomach!
If she was going to cut ties, she was going to do it completely!
She wanted her mother's belongings, and she wanted her shares in the Shaw Group!
Every single thing that rightfully belonged to her, she would take back!
Vivienne Vance loved Willow's decisiveness. Hearing this, she patted her shoulder without hesitation. "I support you entirely. But let's put that aside for now. Come on, let's go home and eat!"
Vivienne had her chef prepare a massive feast, entirely made up of Willow's favorite dishes.
Willow went in to take a shower, as Vivienne kept spare clothes for her at the house.
After freshening up, she finally sat down to eat.
Lucian sat right beside her.
Willow loved shrimp, but she hated peeling them.
That was because she had peeled far too many as a child.
Shortly after Tessa joined the Shaw family, she noticed Willow's dietary preferences and immediately started competing for them.
She had timidly claimed she loved shrimp but didn't know how to peel them. To force Willow to "repay their kindness," the Shaw brothers had dumped the chore of peeling shrimp onto her.
From then on, whenever the chef prepared shrimp, Willow had to endure her own cravings while peeling them for everyone else.
The estate was full of maids and staff, but her brothers refused to let anyone else intervene.
They stubbornly wanted Willow to show her gratitude through this degrading task. It was as if mistreating her somehow proved how righteous and benevolent they were to Tessa.
