Betrayed by Blood: My Second Life as a Queen novel Chapter 326

He was the only person in the entire Shaw family still willing to speak to her.

The line connected, and an irritable voice drifted through. "Who is it? Why are you calling this late?"

Tessa's voice cracked with a sob. "Silas..."

He instantly woke up. "What happened?"

Tessa took a deep breath. She wanted to confess that Elias was cheating, but the words caught in her throat. Instead, she murmured vaguely, "Elias can't forget about Willow."

That single sentence was all it took for Silas's imagination to run wild.

His voice hardened. "I knew that wretched girl was up to no good! A few of her tracks gained some traction recently, and now she thinks she owns the world. Listen to me, Tess. Tomorrow, I'm heading to the audition for Obsidian Heart. It's a massive production helmed by a renowned director. You're coming with me. With your piano skills, the director might just pick you to compose the theme song! Once the show blows up, you'll crush Willow entirely, and I guarantee Elias will finally move on."

Tessa's eyes lit up immediately. "Thank you, Silas!"

Silas chuckled, his tone softening with indulgence. "Why are you thanking me? We're family. Alright, it's late. Go to sleep and don't waste your tears on irrelevant people."

Tessa quickly agreed, finally ending the call with a much lighter heart.

She stared at her darkened phone screen, a sinister glint flashing in her eyes.

Let's see how you compete with this, Willow.

Unaware of the petty schemes brewing against her, Willow returned to Nocturne Heights. Almost on cue, York appeared before her like an eager puppy, flashing a bright smile as he offered to take her out to dinner.

Guarding her like a hawk, Lucian stepped firmly between them. "Mr. Lockwood," he said coldly. "Even as a friend, shouldn't you have some sense of boundaries?"
