Tessa's head snapped to the side from the impact. Her eyelashes fluttered wildly, her eyes filled with absolute shock.

Willow actually dared to hit her?!

Ever since she was taken in by the Shaw family, Willow hadn't laid a finger on her—she barely even raised her voice. Tessa had always held the upper hand in their dynamic!

Tessa's eyes burned with twisted hatred. A second later, her eyes reddened as she cried out in a pitiful, aggrieved tone, "How could you hit me?"

Not only did Willow hit her again, but she balled up her fist and punched Tessa square in the mouth!

Tessa's pampered skin instantly bruised a deep shade of purple.

Willow's tone was deadly cold. "If you don't want that mouth of yours, I can gladly smash it to pieces for you."

Tessa was startled by the murderous glint in Willow's eyes. Trembling slightly, she quickly grabbed Elias's sleeve for protection.

Elias finally reacted. Pulling Tessa behind him, he scowled and reprimanded Willow. "How can you be so barbaric? Tess was just worried you were making a mistake, so she brought it up to me. There was no need to resort to violence!"

"I hit her because she deserved it!" Willow scoffed. "Elias, I suggest you keep her on a leash. If she provokes me again, she won't be the only one catching my hands."

Elias let out a dry, exasperated laugh. "Are you seriously threatening to hit me? Willow, have I been too lenient with you, making you think..."

Before he could even finish his sentence, Willow's hand lashed out and slapped him right across the cheek.

A loud ringing erupted in Elias's ear. His pupils shrank as a surge of fury washed over him. "Willow, are you out of your mind?!"

Willow smirked and tilted her head. "Elias, the Landon family didn't actually treat Caspian, did they? You certainly billed him a fortune, though. If some good Samaritan hadn't stepped in to cover it, Caspian probably wouldn't have been able to afford the medical fees. I never realized your family was so utterly shameless, casually claiming credit for saving his life."
