Upon seeing this, Tessa quickly interjected, “Mr. Sadler, isn’t your statement a bit too extreme?”
The situation became tense. Tessa stood beside Connor and looked at Kaden. “Mr. Sadler, there seems to be a misunderstanding between us. I’m actually the younger sister of Mr. Ford’s wife.”
Hudson sneered, “Brother–in–law and your wife’s younger sister–are you disregarding basic morality?”
“Mr. Sadler!” Connor looked at Kaden with a dark expression. “If you don’t want to cooperate, just say so. There’s no need to slander anyone.”
Connor stepped aside to shield Tessa behind him. “After all, Tessa has worked with your Sadler Group before. Is this how you treat your business partners?”
Tessa’s expression also turned cold. “Mr. Sadler, your staff recently contacted me about continuing our collaboration, yet now you’re humiliating me like this. Is this really appropriate?”
Kaden simply murmured, “Right.” He then took out his phone and made a call.
The call was quickly answered. Kaden spoke to the person on the other end, “Tell the marketing department that, from now on, Sadler Group’s spokespersons are never to work with Tessa Schultz, and we will never cooperate with Ford Group.”
With a simple statement, Kaden effectively shut off the last remaining path for Connor and Tessa.
Tessa immediately panicked.
Connor, however, glared at Kaden and said, “Mr. Sadler, is this how you do business? So emotional?”
Kaden gave a mocking smile. “I have the right to be emotional. Do you?”
Connor was left speechless. He gritted his teeth and glanced at Xylia, who stood motionless nearby. He once again blamed all the mistakes on Xylia.
Just then, the restaurant manager received a call and walked over, gesturing for Connor and Tessa to leave. “I’m sorry, but I’ve received instructions to ask you to leave. We cannot serve you here.”
Tessa, already seething, pointed at the manager and shouted, “Who are you to kick us out? You’re just a manager.”
The manager remained calm. “Sorry, we are just following orders. If you don’t leave voluntarily, I’ll have to call security”
Connor, unable to hold back any longer, snapped, “What orders? We’re just here to eat, and this is how you treat your customers?”
Upon seeing them behave in such a manner, the restaurant manager, without hesitation, used a walkie–talkie to call security and had them escorted out.

As they were leaving, Connor’s furious gaze lingered on Xylia.

After the scene settled down, the restaurant manager turned to the Sadler brothers and Xylia. “Are you all together? Let me take you to your private room.”
Cyrus smiled and looked at Xylia. “Let’s go, Xylia.”
Xylia looked at the three brothers in disbelief. “You are my brothers?” She asked again, unsure.
Hudson, hands in his pockets, walked over to her, nudging Cyrus aside with his elbow, then put his arm around her shoulders. “Of course. Let me introduce myself—I’m Hudson, your fourth older brother.”
Hudson then pointed to Cyrus and Kaden, introducing them briefly, and finally looked at Xylia with a meaningful expression.
“Xylia, your third brother had an urgent matter and couldn’t make it. You can blame him if you like, but please don’t think he’s avoiding you on purpose. We’re just so happy you’re back home,” Hudson added.
Cyrus nodded. “When he comes back, we’ll make sure to give him a good scolding.”
For the first time, Xylia felt truly cared for by her family, and a warmth spread through her heart.
Kaden noticed her relaxed expression and quietly sighed in relief. He looked at the others. “Let’s go, we’ll eat first.”
The four of them followed the manager into the private room. The room was lavishly decorated. Although Xylia had grown up in the Schultz family and later married Connor, living in luxury, she had never really experienced such a place.
Especially after marriage, she and Connor kept their relationship private, and she became a housewife. Connor was always busy and never invited her to social events. The few times he gave her gifts to please her, but they rarely ate out together.
As a result, Xylia rarely found herself in such high–end venues.
Once seated, Hudson pulled out a box and handed it to Xylia. “Here, this is a gift for our first meeting. Do you like it?”
Inside the box was an entire set of jewelry. It looked incredibly expensive. Xylia was at a loss for words.
Although Hudson was her real brother, Xylia felt no emotional connection to them yet. Receiving such an expensive gift for the first time made her feel uneasy. But she was afraid that rejecting it outright would hurt his feelings.
Hudson didn’t wait for her to respond. He quickly placed the box in her arms. “Every girl loves jewelry, and I searched for this set for a long time.
“The moment I saw you, I knew it was perfect for you. You are beautiful and graceful, and you deserve the finest. Should I help you put it on?”
Xylia quickly refused, closing the box and putting it aside. “My outfit today doesn’t go with the jewelry. Thank
