Her eyes flicked over to Joshua, standing right next to Xylia.

“I guess I’m just not used to flying. I’m feeling a little dizzy,” he said.

The plane spent over ten hours in the air before finally arriving over Manedom.

They’d taken off during the day, and when they landed in Manedom, it was still bright out.

Joshua was already awake.

He still looked a little pale.

But after getting off the plane, the ache in the back of his head faded, and some color returned to his face.

Xylia, though, was clearly running out of energy.

Josie had set them up with a place to stay.

The private jet landed right at a sprawling estate.

“This is my home. I’ve got rooms all set for you guys. Just relax for today–I’ve already got you an appointment with Dr. Jace tomorrow,” Josie said warmly.

Xylia looked at Josie, and you could tell she really meant it.

“Thanks, Josie,’ she said.

Josie just shook her head. “Don’t mention it.”

After all, it was part of the deal–this was how she’d gotten Xylia to come to Manedom in the first place.

Her gaze turned a little somber.
