Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding novel Chapter 1005

Raelynn nuzzled her cheek against his palm. "I'm alright."

"Mr. Croix," Jasper approached and greeted Sebastian.

He tactfully didn't offer a handshake. Sebastian was currently using one hand to massage his wife's lower back and the other to hold her thermos, clearly not in the mood for formal pleasantries.

Sebastian gave Jasper a casual glance. "Mr. Shaw."

He had already investigated Jasper thoroughly. The man had a solid background and a clean history. A decent man.

"You don't need to rub my back anymore. Go chat with him," Raelynn told Sebastian, sending him off to entertain Jasper.

Sebastian lowered his gaze at her, then gestured for Jasper to follow. "Let's sit over here."

He figured Raelynn probably wanted some girl time with Chloe.

The two men cooperated, sitting down a short distance away.

Raelynn immediately grabbed Chloe's arm and whispered, "How are things going?"

Chloe lowered her voice. "It's... fine. Quite harmonious."

"In what way?"

Chloe glared at her. "Be serious."

When Jasper had said three days, he had meant exactly three days. However, they had only been sharing a bed for a week, and naturally, they hadn't done anything. They just chatted about their interests and hobbies, finding they were highly compatible in many areas.

She had gone from being on guard to sleeping soundly through the night.

She suddenly felt...

It was actually quite nice.

At the very least, Jasper knew how to respect her boundaries. Although he was direct and decisive, he never rushed things.

Raelynn covered her mouth and giggled. "I can tell you're pretty satisfied with him, Chlo. I have a feeling... you two are going to have a great life together."

It was her intuition.

From the moment Sebastian told her Jasper was a good man, she had believed it.
