The next day happened to be the weekend.

Having just returned from his business trip, Donovan planned to take two days off to rest at home.

Giselle did not rush to go to work either. Between the weekend and the fatigue from her pregnancy, she was sleeping in and had not woken up even though it was past nine in the morning.

Donovan did not have the heart to disturb her. He tucked her in, quietly got out of bed, washed up, and quietly slipped out of the bedroom.

After breakfast, he went outside, intending to go for a run. However, when he glanced at the private golf course behind the villa, he felt the urge to hit a few balls.

He was about to call some friends from his circle, but then he reconsidered. Having guests over would require hosting duties. He was tired from his trip, and with Giselle pregnant, he did not want to disturb the peace.

Donovan dismissed the idea of inviting anyone.

Then, he spotted Chris not far away, receiving instructions from Heath.

Donovan walked over leisurely, hands in his pockets.

"Do you know how to play golf?" he asked Chris.

Seeing him approach, Chris lowered his head out of habit. "Yes."

"Come on then. Play a round with me." Without waiting for a response, Donovan walked toward the course.

Chris stood there, stunned by the abrupt request.

"He told you to go, so go. Why are you staring?" Heath reminded him.

"Okay," replied Chris.
