Broken but still Alive novel Chapter 26

I was about to ran up the stairs and bust through the doors when Adrain stopped me. He exity picked me up my legs instnalty going around his waist, my arms around his shoulders, 1 posted as laid my head on his shoulder slightly turning so I could in front of us.

“Luke our brother Clayton well……just be on alert” Lee told him flanking one side while Lake did the other. I wondered why the acted as if some one was going to attack us.

I looked around in awe as we entered huge painting and other priceless items were everywhere Suddenly i was glad I was in Adrain’s arms afriad I if I was walking I would accident break something. Adrain lead us toward the right and down a huge hallway. We took about three more turns before we fianlly entered a large room that had a large tv screen on the wall and two large

couch’s.

A football game played across the screen and I smirked. Who would guess the king of werewolves actually seats down to watch football.

Adrain pressed my face into his neck suddenly hiding me.

“My boys!” a woman cried suddenly joy filling her tone.

I wanted to look at her but i knew Adrain didn’t want me too.

“Well boys look like you grew up alot over the years a deep voice rumbled.

“Oh joy the twins are back” someone stated in a bored tone.

“Clayton hush, you know how i’ve missed them” the woman spoke again.

“Oh and they have friends! Who is this dear” the woman spoke.

I felt Adrain’s hand rub my back his body suddenly tense. “This…is Emma” Adrain said a litte

nervous.

“Oh what a lovely name is she your mate?!”

I couldn’t stop the giggle that escaped me. Ha my brother as my mate..now where have I heard that

before?

“What no!” Adrain sputtered.

“Then what the hell is the tramp and emo freak doing here” The bored voice from before snapped.

“Clayton!” The male and female gasped.

I growled at the insult to my mate. He wasn’t even emo, all he had was black hair!

“Shut up Clayton!” Adrain growled.

Book1 Chapter 26

“Why! You two leave without a word for years barely calling a couple times every few months. Then suddenly you pop back up with these people thinking we’ll take them in like strays!?” Your still an idiot and always will be Adrain you should have just stayed away.”

Not able to hold my anger in anymore I leapt from Adrain’s arms and moved forward using my lycan speed to slam the large male into the wall. I instatnly knew he was my older brother but he really just pissed me off.

Clay stared at me with wide eyes as he pulled himself out of the wall.

It was deadly silent and I growled softly. Slowly he walked toward me bending to get eye level with

me when he was close enough.

I didn’t protest when he gently grasped my cheek and stared into my eyes.

“Holy shit!” He breathed his eyes going wide.

I turned my head and nipped his finger drawing blood. He jerked back staring at me in disbelief.

“Don’t be mean to Adrain!” I told him sternly.

I blinked bewildered when his eyes suddenly filled with tears “You turned 18 a couple days ago didn’t you honey?” he whispered.

Confused I nodded.

I squeaked surprised when he suddenly crushed me in a hug. I hugged him back feeling horrible as he sobbed against me. What had I done?

“Don’t cry..be happy” I smiled wiping his cheeks.

“I am happy….I’m very happy” he smiled at me tears still falling form his eyes.

“Can some one please explain to me what’s going on!” A deep voice boomed.

I looked over to see a huge man who resembled my brothers alot but i could see my eyes in his face. I smiled brightly at him.

“Hello daddy!”

To say he was surprised was a understatement. He looked like he’d seen a ghost. The woman who i assumed was my mother screamed stumbling back a hand over her mouth.

I turned to Clay worriedly “Did I do something wrong?! I was bad wasn’t I!”

“Shit Luke go calm her down! Lee help me with dad Clayton go help mom!” Adrain snapped moving quickly,

Luke quickly ran to me pulling me into his arms. I felt tears threaten to spill. “I was bad Luke look
