I felt a warm hand on my arm and gasp as sparks danced along my skin. The hand jerked away and I

looked up startled,

He stood beside the bed blood smeared on his nervous looking face.

“Sorry

sorry are you okay? Of course he’s not okay you idiot! I mean I—ugh!” I watched as him in shocked surprised he was actually in my room. I watched him fumble around before grabbing his

hand.

We both inhaled sharply as sparks jumped between our skin.

“Why are you are?” I whispered truly curious.

His face went red and I distantly thought of how cute he looked when he blushed.

“Emma came to me…..she”

I groaned and released his hand. “God I’m sorry I know how Emma can be. You don’t need to feel guilty I accepted your rejection I’ll be gone soon enough” I whispered looking away hiding the pain

in my eyes.

“NO!”

I jumped startled and turned to look at Cameron.

His face was flushed with the anger I was now familiar with his hands shaking.

“You are not going to leave me you here! You are going to heal and never hurt your self again and your going to mark me as yours! You won’t look at another guy and I won’t look at another man. Well get married, and adopt kids and………we’ll be togeather”

I gaped at Cameron feeling hope rise in my chest.

“What…..what are you talking about” I whispered.

He grabbed my face gently looking so nervous I wanted to assure him everthing was fine but was

afraid he’d stop talking.

“I’m talking about…..you” He took a deep breath. “I’m talking about you accepting me as your m–mate” he whispered.

Joy burst thorugh me so violently i nearly cried out smiled brightly and i grabbed the back of his neck crashing his lips against mine. Lights exploded behind my lids as his soft lips moved agasint mine. My wolf howled in joy at the feel of our mate agaisnt us.

I felt him lean closer but a involuntary grunt of pain left me as his chest rubbed agasint my

wounded one. He jerked back guilt on his face. “Shit I’m so sorry.I have a lot to make up for don’t I?” He muttered rubbing his neck uncomfortable.

I smiled and grabbed his hand “Yes you do mate”

Emma P.O.V

Showered and in clean clothes I paced my room worriedly.

“Why don’t we go check on him” Luke suggested wrapping his arms around my waist. I sighed

nodded.

“He promised he wouldn’t do anything soon but…..I can’t help but worry” I whispered pain laced in

my voice.

Luke bent down and kissed my cheek lovingly.

“I’m here for you” he reminded me softly. I turned in his arms and hugged him tightly. “I know

Luke, thank you”

He shook his head at me and grabbed my hand pulling me out our room.

Once we reached Clay’s door I felt fear start to chock me again. What If i went in there to see what I saw last time? What I was to late?

Shaking I quickly opened the door and froze.

My mind seemed to refuse to put togeather what i was seeing.

i squeaked when Luke quickly pulled me back into the hallway shutting the door.

I looked up at him in disbelief. “Was that…..”

“Cameron making out with Clay” Luke grinned at me.

I squealed and threw my arms around his neck kissing the life out of him. He pulled back chuckling. “You my dear must be very scary when your pissed”

I laughed and felt tears of relief in my eyes. Clay was going to live. He was going to be happy.

I threw a biscut at Adrain’s head glaring when Sarah caught it. Adrain glared at me and I glared

back.

“Alright thats it you three are going to get over this little disagreement now or so help me goddess!” Lee shouted surprising everyone.

Lee was the quiet one out of all of us and I really hadn’t expected him to blow up like that.

I crossed my arms sulking slightly.

I smirked when Adrain and Sarah copied me.

Lee glared at us and slammed his hands on the table making us jump. “NOW!”

We all grumbled making him growl.

“She tried to kill me!” Sarah yelled pointing an accusing finger at me.

I groaned and rolled my eyes “Are you ever going to let that one go? Yes I almost killed you but that wasn’t my fault! I wasn’t my self and your just pissed bacause Adrain went to me frist!” I shouted.

She flinched knowing i was right.

“Yeah every here family first!? And if he hadn’t calmed me down i would have gone after you again

so he was basically protecting you but you were to selfish to realize that! He’s your mate your safety

is always in his thoughts! Then you made him choose between us KNOWING he was going to pick

me” I snarled getting angry. “What kind of mate are you”

She flinched again tears gathering in her eyes.

“Your right” she whispered.

Duh.

“Sarah don’t listen to her shes–” Adrain was cut off as Sarah quickly shook her head.
