“Luca stop it! We need her alive!” The King snapped jerking him off me.

Luca struggled agasint his fathers hold snarling loudly. “She was going to hurt Lilly!”

“I know thats why she has to stay alive, we need to know who sent her‘

I wondered if they even remembered the other twin passed out on the couch his chest still bleeding. Was it bad that !

Suddenly the useless guards came running in and grabbed me roughly before taking me out the room and throwing me

in a cell.

I laid on the ground not bothering to move. I probably had a few broken bones but I didn’t feel anything. Pain was familiar to me when I was in this state of mind. I could have a sword shoved in my gut and not even flinch. That was

how grandfather had wanted me.

Days months years could have passed I wouldn’t have noticed. So when the sound of footsteps reached my ears I was

startled slightly.

Three figures appeared and I knew death was not far.

The Queen and King had emotionless faces but Luca? Oh his fury could not be pushed away. It vibrated off him in waves that attacked my defensives, I could tell only a thin string was holding him back from killing me.

“Who sent you?” The King asked in a dark tone.

I said nothing and it seemed to make Luca snap. In a flash he had me by the throat and agasint the wall. He ripped my

mask off sending my hair everywhere.

“Who sent you!” He screamed.

I smiled slightly “The devil” I whispered.

He growled loudly and hit me.

“Luca The Queen warned. Suddenly Luca’s hand shifted slightly and touched my mating mark.

My scream of agony pierced the air and made Luca drop me in shock. I covered my mark and cowered away from him never having have felt such pain before.

Suddenly the Queen was crouched in front of me. “Emma wait she–”

“I’m fine Luke” The Queen snapped.

I cowered slightly as she brushed my hair away from my face and removed my hands from my mark.

“She’s mated you must have touc– The Queen froze as her eyes connected with mine. Thousands of emotions flickered in her eyes and i didn’t understand any of them.

‘Lena‘ she whispered.

I jerked away shocked that she knew my name. Scrambling to my feet I pushed myself away from her hugging the wall. She stared at me not moving from her crouched postion tears falling down her face.

I looked up toward the King and Luca to see the same emotions on their faces. “Lena? Is….. is it really you?” The King

asked stepping forward.

I whimpered causing him to freeze. “How do you know my name?” I asked.

Suddenly I felt pressure on my mind and winced. I tired to block it but it just kept coming. Groaning I grabbed my head. Then just like a balloon my mind seemed to….pop.

I jumped startled as the voice spoke in my head. As Luca spoke in my head. I snapped my eyes to him and glared. His

eyes widen in surprise.

“Lena, can you hear me?”

“Yes now stop it!” I shouted angrily.

His eyes went huge then I was in his arms in a crushing hug. I squealed and tried to escape but his arms were like steel.

What was wrong with these people!

Bringing my knee up he instantly released me groaning. I lept out of his hold and ran past the Queen and King taken them by supirse. I had to get out had to get free. I ran up the stairs and down the hallways having no clue to where I

was.

I turned a corner and froze staring straight into Lilly’s eyes.

She must not have recognized me from earlier because she ran right to me crying. “Leo’s hurt!”

Instinctively I bent down and picked her up cooing softly. She wrapped her arms tight around my neck and continued to
