Does she have to be so stubborn? Why is it that whenever something happens, she goes to someone else instead of coming to me first?
Though the thought left him deeply unsettled, he didn’t stop to consider what that feeling meant–he simply lit a cigarette in irritation.
Meanwhile, Serena sat in her car, musing, So Sebastian found out. Did he really scold Amber for me?
She thought she owed him more and more now.
‘Thank you for today.’
After some internal debate, she decided to text him.
Sebastian stared at his phone, the dark depths of his eyes motionless, the corner of his mouth lifting ever so slightly.
‘No problem. Next time, just tell me directly. I’m your boyfriend–and your future husband.’
It was supposed to be nothing more than a transaction, yet that one message sent heat up Serena’s neck.
Husband…
Just thinking the word made her feel like she was on fire.
‘Sebastian, I want to borrow a few people. Is that okay?‘
Kyana lounged on her soft bed, still basking in her brief triumph, when her bedroom door was kicked
eyes widened, panic flashing through them as she recognized the person

Yvonne walked in just in time to see two tall men hauling her daughter and tossing her out the front doors. “Who are you people?! Put my daughter down, or I’m calling the police!”
Serena crossed her arms. “Go ahead. Perfect timing–I’ll ask the police about her slandering me too. I originally wanted to give you two days to move out on your own. But since you refuse to behave, I’ll have someone move you out.”
The household staff stood frozen, terrified by the scene. The men Serena brought home were tall, strong, and efficient–they didn’t waste a single second. Even if the servants wanted to intervene, they couldn’t. And Donald wasn’t home.
Yvonne and Kyana stared in horror as the luggage–half–packed–was tossed out of the villa. Anything not boxed was thrown straight onto the pavement.
Kyana exploded. “Mom! Call Dad! She’s lost her mind!”
Yvonne’s expression twisted with barely contained fury. She took a deep breath and forced herself not to break. She recorded a video, sent it to her husband, then called him. “Donald, how dare Serena be so rude to me?”
When Donald rushed home, the front of the villa was a complete mess. His wife and daughter were red–eyed and distressed.
