The two bodyguards stepped aside without a word. “Go on in.”

Donald clenched his jaw, trying to keep his anger in check. He turned toward his wife and daughter. “Just wait here. I’ll go talk to her myself. She thinks she’s running this place? She’s lost her mind!”

He stormed through the front door, but stopped short. His eyes widened. There weren’t just two guards anymore. At some point, his eldest daughter had brought in ten more. Ten.

And the house staff? Useless. They couldn’t do anything.

“Serena! What are you doing? I’ve agreed to move them out! Is this really necessary? Are you trying to embarrass our family in front of the whole neighborhood?”

He couldn’t understand her. Was she really this reckless now? Didn’t she care what people might say? That she’d look rude? Disrespectful?

Serena used to avoid trouble. But not anymore.

Donald froze in place. That part caught him off guard.

He let out a long breath. “You could’ve just told me. I would’ve handled Kyana myself! Instead, you

blew this up and made us look like fools! This whole neighborhood knows who we are. Do you even know what people are saying right now?”

Serena smirked. Her voice was sharp. “I don’t care what they’re saying. I care about what I feel. And no, I’m not dropping the case. But I’ll change the part about the public apology. Instead of putting it out there, I want Yvonne and her nephew to come apologize to me. In person. That’s it.”
