After the others walked away, Rowena shot a vicious glare at the woman beside her. “Kyana, don’t cause trouble. If you do, I won’t cover for you anymore. I don’t care even if Yvonne steps in.”

Kyana wanted to snap back but didn’t dare.

Serena didn’t really care why Kyana had shown up.

She ate her dessert slowly and neatly. She didn’t notice the cream at the corner of her mouth and kept eating with clear enjoyment.

Sebastian’s gaze grew heated as it lingered on her pink lips. His eyes darkened.

She seemed to notice his strange look. “What’s wrong? Is there something on my face?”

Sebastian’s dry, slightly cool thumb brushed across her lip without warning. He brought it to his mouth and tasted it. “Some cream got there. It’s sweet.”

Serena’s face heated up right away.

Julian watched the two of them acting all affectionate and could barely stand to look.

Connor grew curious. “Does Old Mr. Levine know about this?”

“Who knows?” Julian said with a shrug.

“So this is real?” Connor asked.

Julian thought for a moment. “Probably.”

They had never seen Sebastian like this before.

If they believed in ghosts, they might have thought he was possessed.

Julian agreed. It might turn into a big show.

While they were talking, neither of them noticed the server who hurried past.

“Sir, would you like some juice?” the server asked

Sebastian glanced at the tray and nodded slightly.

There were two glasses of orange juice. The server set one in front of Serena, then slowly placed the other in front of Sebastian.

“Please enjoy,” the server said.

Sebastian narrowed his eyes and studied the server for a second. He then picked up the juice and took a big sip.

Serena watched him drink with interest. “Is it that good?”

Sebastian curved his lips. “It’s okay.”

Not long after, Sebastian’s cheeks started to turn red.

He stood up. “I’m going to the restroom.”

Serena wondered why his face looked flushed. He had only been drinking orange juice.

Kyana looked down at the message on her phone. Joy rushed through her.

With sweaty palms, she pulled a room key card from her bag and headed straight to the second floor.

The first floor was the banquet hall. The second floor had several private rooms where guests could rest.

She only needed to wait inside. Sebastian would naturally be helped into her room soon.
