Chapter 118 Fever and Confessions
Without thinking too much about it, Serena helped him into the elevator.
She didn’t question where Sebastian got the room key or why he refused to go to the hospital.
She struggled to help him onto the bed. He was just too heavy.

Serena lost her balance when he accidentally tripped her. The two of them fell onto the mattress together.
Their bodies pressed tightly together with no space in between. Serena felt a dull ache and tried to get up.
Then she met a pair of eyes filled with desire.
Her heart skipped. “Mr. Sebastian, you have a fever. I should call a doctor for you.”
Sebastian’s gaze was dark. Hot breath spilled from his lips, and his Adam’s apple moved slightly. “I don’t. I was drugged.”
Serena froze. Her mind felt like it shut down. She asked, “What kind of drug is it?”
He gave a short, mocking smile. “An aphrodisiac. I’m sorry. You said you wanted to thank me before. I want to cash in that thank you now.”
As soon as he finished speaking, his burning lips pressed down on hers.
Serena didn’t expect him to kiss her.
A hot hand gripped the back of her head, while the other wrapped tightly around her waist.
She was forced even closer to him.
Even through the thin fabric, she could feel how hot his body was.
“Mm, Sebastian.”
Every soft sound she made was swallowed by him. The kiss went from light to deep.
Serena’s mind stopped working from the kiss.
The quiet lounge was filled with the heavy scent of hormones.
Their breathing tangled together, and she felt lightheaded.

Serena’s face burned red. Her eyes looked watery, and she didn’t dare to look at him. “Okay. Can you let go of me now?”
His body was reacting clearly, and she didn’t have the courage to look up at him.
“I’m sorry.”
He said sorry, but his hand was still locked around her waist.
Serena listened to his heavy breathing. After five minutes, he finally pushed her away.
She turned her back to him. “I’ll call an ambulance.”
She had been drugged once before. She knew how painful that numb, crawling feeling deep in the bones could be.
“No.”
“Then what are you going to do?”
There was no way she was curing him.
Sebastian stood up, flushed, and walked into the bathroom. “Don’t come in. I’ll handle it myself.”
She definitely wasn’t going in.
Serena said, “Okay. If you can’t take it, go to the hospital.”
The veins on the back of Sebastian’s hand stood out. There was a reason he couldn’t go to the hospital.
The only answer she got was the sound of running
Serena couldn’t sit still.
She should leave right away. Then she thought about Sebastian.
If she just left, would that be too heartl
She sted wondering which part went wrong for him to get drugged.
