Lucinda wanted nothing more than to slap Amber in public.

Kyana frowned. The frustration from not catching Amber’s bouquet was replaced by smugness after hearing Amber’s words. She knows how to twist the knife. I’ll pass along every word to dear
Serena.
Before the emcee could announce the end of the ceremony, someone pushed open the banquet hall’s door.
All eyes turned to the entrance. Sebastian, in a smart suit, entered arm–in–arm with a woman in an emerald dress.
The crowd was stunned into silence.
They recognized her as Trevor’s ex–fiancee, who crashed the ceremony last time.
Serena’s red lips curled into a smile. “Thanks, but I don’t need the bouquet. Save it for the singles.”
She cruelly added, “I’m married, after all.”
A faint smile tugged at the corner of Sebastian’s mouth. His voice dropped to a velvety tone. “Dad. Nathan, sorry. My wife and I got held up.”
Julian watched as Sebastian confidently approached, and the corner of his lips twitched. Classic Sebastian. He knows how to make a dramatic entrance.
Onstage, the newlyweds‘ faces were grim.
The bouquet fell from Amber’s grip to the floor with a thud. The flower petals scattered everywhere.
Her mind went blank. She hoped what she heard was a lie.
No way! Serena didn’t just marry Uncle Sebastian! Trevor’s eyes widened in disbelief. All he could hear was his thundering heartbeat. His limbs were numb.
His eyes locked in on the pair’s intimacy.
Her red lips, ivory skin, and slim waist occupied his mind as she gracefully sashayed toward the stage.

His sharp gaze landed on her delicate hand without blinking. It was resting on Sebastian’s arm, and Trevor thought this was insane.
In her round eyes, he didn’t see a trace of longing that he had expected to see. Instead, he found mockery in them, as if teasingly reminding him she had fallen out of love with him.
At that moment, he felt a pang in his heart.
It was like thousands of knives had stabbed into him and out again. His heart was bleeding.
He couldn’t move his bloodshot eyes from their linked arms.
Sebastian smiled almost imperceptibly. “Congratulations, you two. May you live happily ever after. I’m sorry that my wife and I barely make it. She wants to make a good impression on you as my wife, so she took a little longer to get ready. I’m sure you won’t mind, will you?”
What do you mean? Like hell I won’t. Seeing you two together is killing me!
Tensing, he asked in a strained voice, “Why, Uncle Sebastian?”
There are a lot of women out there. Why does it have to be Serena?
Sebastian’s smile grew wider, yet he played dumb. “What are you talking about?”
The others shared his shock. However, Nathan regained his composure. The father warned with a gloomy expression. “Enough, Trevor. You and Amber should prepare for the next routine.”
“Sebastian,” he glanced at the woman in the emerald dress, his thoughts running wild in his head. “Come over here and sit next to Dad.”
Bryce’s brows furrowed as he huffed out his frustration. “Lucy, do you have medicine? My head is spinning.”
