“Got it! Thanks, Uncle Sebastian! I’ll take care of everything!”
Sebastian walked off with Serena without giving anyone else a second glance.

Inside the car, Serena sat in the passenger seat and glanced over at him. That smirk on his fac was way too smug.
“Sebastian, we just left without saying anything. We didn’t even talk to Bryce.”
Sebastian raised his brow. “It’s fine. Lucinda can handle them. But,” he paused, then turned to her, “you calling me Sebastian still? We’re married now.
“You should be calling me honey.”
He said the word like he meant it. Like it was final.
Serena looked away the second he said it. That word stung.
Sebastian rested his hand on the steering wheel and stared at her profile. She didn’t want to say it? That was fine.
He’d make sure she did eventually.
“You should be calling my dad as Bryce, but since he didn’t give you a proper gift for it, just stick with Mr. Levine. You can call Trevor’s dad whatever you want. You don’t even have to say hi to him if you feel like it.”
Serena didn’t respond.
Someone please stop him. She wasn’t ready to deal with any of this.
When they finally made it to the estate, her ears could finally take a break.
She never imagined someone who looked so disciplined could talk this much.
She turned to him. “You’re not coming in?”
Sebastian gave a half–smirk. “I’ve got to go back and put out the fires. Don’t stay up. If you’re tired, sleep.”

Chapter 190 Cha Ching
Who said she was waiting for him?
“Oh. Well… good luck.”
:
He let out a quiet chuckle. His voice was low and smooth. “Thanks.”

Lucinda might’ve taken the “injury compensation,” but her grandfather’s stare felt heavier than a truck.
“Lucinda, you knew Sebastian was already dating Serena before today, didn’t you?”
Lucinda forced a laugh. “Grandpa, seriously. I found out like three seconds before you did.
“If I knew earlier, I would’ve brought some pills for you!”
“Stop joking around.”
Lucinda clung to his arm. “I mean it. You always liked Rena, right? You wanted her to marry into the family. Grandma and Rena’s grandma made a pact. Trevor didn’t appreciate her. Now Uncle Sebastian’s the one stepping up. It still works out.
“You don’t want Uncle Sebastian to grow old alone, do you?”
Bryce froze.
Sebastian’s marriage had always been a sore spot.
His older sons settled down early. But the youngest? Thirty–three and not even a date in sight.
He’d even considered dragging him to a doctor, just to check if something was off.
And now? Married. License signed. But to his nephew’s ex?
He didn’t want to think about it. The more he did, the more his blood pressure climbed.
Back at the Levine house, the room was stiff with tension.
