But he didn’t dare challenge him. “You’re right, Mr. Levine. I’ll talk to her. I’ll make sure she gets it. Everything I have is going to Rena anyway. She’s always been my priority.”
Sebastian didn’t respond. He just ended the call.
That night, Donald went straight to the apartment.
The second Kyana opened the door, he slapped her across the face.
“Dad, what was that for?” Kyana stared at him, stunned.
“You’re actually asking me why? Think about what you’ve been doing.”
Donald stormed in, grabbed the umbrella from the entryway, and swung it at her without hesitation.
“I told you to stay away from your sister. Are you incapable of following basic instructions?”
Kyana shrieked. “Mom! Help! He’s lost it!”
She tried to dodge, but he still landed a few solid hits.
Yvonne rushed out, horrified. “Donald! What are you doing? She’s not a child anymore. You can’t just hit her and call it discipline!”
“She doesn’t learn unless I do something. All she does is compete with her sister.”
Kyana sobbed hard. “You’re always taking her side!”
Ever since her grandmother passed, everything had changed.
Her father kicked her and her mother out of the main house. Now he was hitting her over that woman?
She had never been treated like this before.
“You think I’m unfair?” Donald’s chest rose and fell with fury. “Then go marry someone better. “This is your last warning, Kyana. If you cross the line again, you’re not my daughter anymore.”

Chapter 213 Punishment
He dropped the umbrella and slammed the door on his way out.
Kyana dropped into Yvonne’s arms, crying uncontrollably.
“Mom, what’s wrong with him?”
Yvonne’s heart broke for her. But her hatred for that man ran even deeper.
“He won’t abandon you. I won’t let him.”
“Do you really think he means it?” Kyana choked out the words.
Yvonne’s eyes darkened. “He doesn’t have the nerve.”
She still had leverage. She wasn’t afraid.
“Kyana, don’t go near her again. Let me handle it.”
Every time Sebastian kissed her, Serena felt off the next morning.
Even though they were married, she still felt like he was out of reach.
Even with their names printed side by side on that marriage license.
Serena dressed and grabbed her bag, ready to leave early.
“Good morning, Mrs. Levine. Mr. Levine is already waiting in the dining room,” the butler said with a warm tone.
Serena froze. He was up already?
It wasn’t even seven–thirty. She had left early on purpose just to avoid seeing him.
