“Got it.” Amber muttered through gritted teeth, feeling annoyed.

Winona had booked the flight tickets for her

departure a week ago.

“Winona, are you really leaving?” Serena was reluctant to part ways.

Bringing up her chat history with Elijah, she

pushed the screen in Winoma’s face. “He plans to propose to you on the day of your departure. What do I do? Should I tell him?”

She couldn’t help feeling conflicted. After all, she could tell Elijah was quite serious about the proposal. He had repeatedly contacted her to confirm Winona’s preferences.

He even asked about the color of roses Winona liked, making sure he was prepared in advance.

“That night, it finally clicked. I’m done living a life where I had to constantly swallow my pride for somebody else.”

Serena understood.

There were times when a person would inevitably become lost and confused, sometimes even falling into a toxic or unhealthy relationship as a result..
