After several rounds of Truth or Dare played by the people sitting on both sides of the circle, the spinning bottle seemed almost drawn by some invisible force. Once again, it pointed straight at Sebastian.
“Whoa, Mr. Levine! Going with Truth again this time?” someone teased.
Sebastian looked directly toward Serena. They happened to be seated diagonally across from each other
“Yes,” he said calmly, “I’ll answer the second question from earlier. Am I still in contact with my first love?”
As Sebastian slowly repeated the question, Serena felt her heart tighten along with his words.
“Yes,” he replied.
He looked at the girl across from him, whose face had scrunched up in confusion. A smile tugged at his lips.
“She’s my wife now
The group exploded into loud cheers and teasing whistles.
But Serena’s mind went completely blank.
The first love Sebastian mentioned–the one he dated when he was twenty–four–was her?
Since when had she ever dated him? If he were twenty–four, she would’ve been only seventeen!
Even after the campfire party ended, Serena still felt unsettled.
Lily invited her to go watch the moon and stargaze. Word was there would be a meteor shower that night.
Serena shook her head and politely declined. She returned to her tent and tried hard to search through every memory she had.
There was no way she had secretly dated Sebastian when she was younger.
As harsh as it sounded, Serena’s first real love had indeed been Trevor.
Then a message popped up on her phone.
“Come to my tent.”
It was from Sebastian.
Serena quietly lifted the flap of her tent and looked around. After making sure no one was nearby, she quickly slipped into Sebastian’s tent.
The moment she stepped inside, he pulled her straight into his arms.
She glanced around in surprise.

“Your tent looks bigger than mine!”

Sebastian smiled. “Of course. I had the owner customize it for me a few days in advance. It even fits a king- size sleeping bag.”
Not many people would manage to cram something that big inside a tent.
“Alright.” Serena said, forcing a stern expression as she pointed at him. “Explain it. What exactly is going on with your so–called first love?”
Sebastian took her soft hand and gently sucked one of her fingers into his mouth, his tongue teasing along
It was just a finger, yet Serena’s ears immediately turned red.
“Do you remember Grand Lakeview–the game you played during the summer after your sophomore year?” he asked.
Serena’s pupils suddenly shrank.
“You… You were Sebastena?”
“Little fool,” Sebastian chuckled. “My name plus your name. How did you not recognize it?”
The revelation hit Serena like a shock.
Growing up, she had always been the obedient one–her grandmother’s good granddaughter, her teachers‘ model student. Yet despite all that, she never received her father’s affection.
Serena tried to excel at everything, hoping it would earn even the slightest approval from Donald.
But when she turned seventeen, no matter how perfect her grades were, Donald still refused to acknowledge her.
For the first time in her life, Serena felt rebellious.
That summer, she deliberately stopped reviewing her lessons and doing homework. Instead, she spent the entire vacation immersed in a fantasy online game.
For a whole month.
In that game, she became partners with the man ranked number one on the wealth leaderboard, a player whose username was Sebastena.
In truth, they barely spoke.
Back then, Serena wasn’t in a good mood at all. She only partnered with him so they could complete the couple questline and earn that legendary gear set.
