Chapter 399 Two Lines of Joy
“You mean…”
“Mm. Put me down. Call a delivery runner and have them bring up a few pregnancy tests.”
Sebastian took six pregnancy tests from the delivery runner, who looked thoroughly annoyed.

Who in their right mind ordered delivery all the way up a mountain? If the tip hadn’t been ridiculously generous, he never would’ve come.
“Thanks. If it’s good news, I’ll send you an extra tip.”
The runner instantly beamed. “Heh! Then I wish you twins–one boy and one girl!”
The blessing warmed Sebastian’s heart.
“Thanks. I’ll take that luck.”
Outside the women’s restroom, Sebastian had never felt time crawl so slowly.
“Honey, are you done yet?”
“Stop rushing me, Sebastian! You’ve rushed me so much I can’t even pee anymore!”
“Oh–don’t rush, honey. Take your time. Want me to whistle for you? That might help.”
“Shut up!”
Employees passing by on their way to the restroom saw Sebastian standing guard outside the women’s bathroom like a statue. They looked thoroughly embarrassed.
Sebastian smiled politely and even gestured toward the door. “Go ahead.”
Inside their heads, the employees all had the same thought.
Well… today’s definitely going to be a constipated kind of day.
When Serena looked down at the six pregnancy tests–all showing two lines–her eyes filled with tears. She snapped a photo and sent it to Sebastian.
Sebastian stared at the results again and
in
“Honey… what do lines mean? Does that mean pregnant or not pregnant?”
Serena fixed her clothes and walked
“Idiot! Two lines means I’m pregnant!”
Sebastian immediately pulled his woman into his arms, thrilled enough to spin her around. But then he remembered her delicate stomach–he absolutely couldn’t do that. His precious daughter was in there.

Instead, he wrapped an arm around Serena and led her back to the campsite. Quite a few people cast curious looks their way.
Sebastian was in an unusually good mood that day.
“Sorry, everyone. Enjoy yourselves. I’m heading back to the city.”
Someone boldly asked, “Mr. Levine, what’s going on between you and Ms. Steele?”
Sebastian’s lips curved into a small smile.
“Oh, I forgot to tell everyone–this is my beloved wife.”
Lily practically exploded with excitement.
“Boss! Seriously? D*mn, Serena kept that secret from us so well!”
Eugene had already heard that his apprentice was pregnant. He was genuinely happy for them.
“Yeah. We just never found the right time to announce it before. Don’t blame her.”
Then he noticed Lily clasping both hands together, muttering like she was praying.
“I wish… I don’t even need a husband as good as Serena’s. If I can find someone with thirty percent of his qualities, that’s enough. I’m not greedy. Thirty percent is enough.”
Lily hurriedly corrected her wish out loud, afraid heaven might think she was asking for too much.
Inside the car.
Serena still found it a little unbelievabl
Before the trip, Sebastian had asked when they should make their relationship public. She had joked that they could announce it once she got pregnant.
And somehow, the joke had instantly come true.
Serena turned to the calm, composed man beside her.
“Sebastian, you’re going to be a dad. Aren’s

you happy?”
Sebastian glanced at her, a flash of wild joy flickering in his eyes.
“Honey, my hands are shaking a little. Feel them.”
